"We stayed in this tiny house, set at the front of the owners property, it was private but not really the “bush” experience we’d hoped for. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is good but the kitchen amenities were pretty basic, so don’t expect to cook, no bbq either. We were excited about the fire pit, however you have to bring your own wood (none available in town) and the seating around the fire drum was pretty basic. "The motel staff were very helpful despite my difficult request to check in very early. Housekeeping was hospitable and overall the motel and Bororen itself had a good effect. The weather is warm near the tropics and the motel had a great brand of country charm and hospitality. Highly recommended. Given the remote location amenities themselves are minimal but it's related to the location not the motel itself. A great driver reviver and nice and quiet except for the highway but that can't be helped. Clears the mind to stay somewhere so sparsely populated but with a well-stocked petrol station and cafe nearby. Miriam Vale and Agnes Water Beach are also nearby. It has got a pool to cool off in."
