I would have given full stars if i didn't find a used crumbled napkin in my room underneath the nightstand beside the bed. Overall, the hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and kind.

We like Tru hotels for the pool table in the lobby. We have stayed at the Fairfield Tru before and that one was better taken care of. Our room at the Rocky Mount Tru had hair in the shower and balls of hair on the floor. Sort of gross. Breakfast was good and Outback was an easy walk. Close to 95 for easy stop with travel.

I like the location of the property. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the room I wanted on the top floor. Also, at 7am yesterday someone was trying to get into our room and we kept telling them they had the wrong room. That was a little unsettling to keep hearing somone trying to come into the room.
