We stayed in the Ioneta cabin which was very nice. The location was away from the main roads and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful. We stayed 4 nights and it was very enjoyable.
Was an excellent vacation. Stayed for 6 days. Place was clean, warm, and very welcoming. Owner had driveway plowed in timely manner after unexpected snow storm. Location was perfect right on the lake. Would definitely stay again!
The camp was extremely clean and organized. We had everything we needed, most comfortable king bed and there was even a dog bed! Fishing and weather were great, will definitely stay again!
Such a pretty view! We had a gorgeous sunrise and rainbow that night. Hosts were very kind and on property in case you needed anything. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Mud Season rates were great, and we’ll be back for other seasons.
Dog friendly/welcome!
Spotless and cozy. Attention to detail was appreciated. Natural cleaners, no heavy scents all natural. Very clean a efficient. Nice view of the lake.
The cabin is cozy and extremely well equipped. Everything you need and more. The location is the real star. What a view, all those lake toys and evenings by the fire pit.
Went up to knock Snowmobiling off the bucketlist. The place is right on the lake . It is equipped with everything. We love to travel and have stayed in alot of places and this is the best stock kitchen I ever stayed in , every utensil was thought of. The Bed was amazing memory foam with the warmest comforter ever. Even had a doggie bed for our furry friends . GREAT PLACE
My husband and I had an amazing few days in the North Country and the cabin was a highlight! We'd have been happy never leaving the property but it was still great coming 'home' after our day trips. The cabin had all the features and amenities we could have wanted and was so cute! Sitting around fire pit at lakeside with the loons calling in the background will be a memory that will bring us back for sure!!!
Last year was our first visit and we booked for the same week for this year shortly after returning home. We loved it last year but spent much of the time away from the property on adventures. This year we wanted to take advantage of ALL that Lawrence's Lakeside Cabins offers and we did! We used the canoes, paddled the kayaks to Mt Kineo and back, played yard games, card games on deck and used fire pits every night. Indoors had all the comforts of home and all the kitchen items and grill for our meals. We are already planning our next trip...
We loved our stay! Listing was very accurate. Trina was helpful. It is a private road right on the lake. The sunrises are well worth getting up early for! We really enjoyed the kayaking! Fishing was great too! Overall amazing stay!
When planning your stay keep in mind there is not any nearby shopping, so plan ahead. The kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you will need.
We look forward to returning in the future!

Fantastic getaway for my husband and I, will absolutely be going back! Our stay was both peaceful and exciting, beautiful views of the lake and mount Kineo. Highly recommend this rental.
We had a great stay at the Ioneta cabin, enjoyed kayaking, grilling, stargazing, and watching the hummingbirds outside the cabin. It was so peaceful and clean, and we definitely want to return!

We only stayed one night in the Ioneta cabin but we will definitely be back! The cabin was beautiful and the location was spectacular. The property manager was very responsive to all questions and concerns. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to anyone visiting the Moosehead region.
Another amazing getaway! We travel often and always prefer to try new places but we love going to Lawarances so much we went again this year and will be going again next year! The environment is so welcoming and has so much to do that's included! The host is so helpful and the local host is just a message away if you need anything. It's very rare to find a place like this that includes so much for you and your 4 legged friends And go next door see Bob and rent a pontoon boat to enjoy the lake and catch an amazing sunset.
Cabin was adorable, clean, and had great amenities. We loved the kayaks and lakefront deck. We didn’t get a chance to use the grill but it looked super easy to use. Very chilled out spot to explore Moosehead Lake!
I was looking for something away from people for me and my fiancé to celebrate his birthday and take a deep breath away from our busy lives. This was in my price range and they allowed dogs which was a must! We were both blown away with our beautiful cabin and the seclusion. Breathtaking mesmerizing view of moose head lake. The weather wasn’t as planned so we weren’t able to enjoy taking our boat out or using the kayaks. We will definitely be back to explore the lake and stay in paradise.
My wife and I wanted to see moose so we drove north out of our base in Bar Harbor and would need a place to stay since moose peeping is best at dusk and we didn’t want to drive back to Bar Harbor at night. Our cabin was exactly as described; clean and freshly remodeled. We weren’t there long so didn’t get to appreciate the lake other than it’s beauty. It’s about 20 minutes from Greenville so you need to plan ahead with your provisions as it’s not convenient to drive back to town. Saw four moose and two black bear while in the area so our goal was accomplished to see moose with the added bear bonus! The road back to the camp is dirt/gravel and currently riddled with potholes. Overall a great place to stay; we just wish we had a couple more days to really enjoy all it had to offer.
