Cabin on Moosehead Lake

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views of the lake. Unfortunately, it was raining for about the first 24 hours that we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the back deck. Quaint little place, but fulfilled our needs.

Amazing!

Absolutely wonderful cabin on Moosehead Lake! So clean and comfortable. The pictures don’t even do it justice. This is a beautiful vacation spot for anyone looking to get away from everything and have a quiet and relaxing trip. I’d give it 20 stars if I could..I fell in love with Moosehead Lake after our wonderful time here.

Moosehead Revisited

Outstanding location on the lake looking at Mount Kineo. Traditional Maine camp with most modern amenities. Comfortable with a dock for swimming and boating. Used the fire pit and deck and front porch multiple times. The water in front of the camp is like a lagoon behind a breakwater 5 feet deep or so. There is a narrow boating entrance at the north end. Some caution is needed in navigating but well protected and great for swimming. Would definitely use again. Very clean.

Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to prepare a meal. Gas stove, microwave, refrigerator and freezer. Comfortable beds. Dining room table sits 5. Air conditioning if you need it. Cabin has a lovely porch with four chairs that face Mt. Kineo. To the side of the cabin, a great outdoor seating area with four chairs. Also a cookout area. Quiet, peaceful environment. We rented a canoe for two days as canoes and kayaks are not included in the cabin rental. Hosts attentive and very welcoming. Two bedrooms with two single beds in each. One bathroom. Cabin size ideal for two people, three adults would be comfortable but 4 adults might feel a bit cramped. Accommodations would probably work well for parents and a couple of kids. Would definitely stay in this cabin again.
