Very cozy, lots of different lighting choices & nicely decorated. The views from the back deck were great. The drive to the cabin is stunning in the fall. Loved the weather

Very remote and nice cabin. It has a very cozy feel and wonderful for kids to get outdoors. We enjoyed the excellent internet, tv, fire pit, grill, and having a wonderful kitchen. We took out UTV and road hundreds of miles from this location just exploring and sight seeing.
The cabin was great. The wildllife was all over and the porch by the creek was nice. Great location and central for us we were there to ride our motorcycle all over Eastern Tennessee!!
We came to visit & have Thanksgiving with our son & family who live close by but don’t have space for everyone. We were all so impressed with the house & surrounding areas! The entire experience was wonderful! Our DIL said that the owners were so thoughtful & had such wonderful insight into visitors needs. Cooking a full thanksgiving meal was made so much easier with all the cooking & utensils available. The beds were comfy & everything was clean. Every need was anticipated & provided for. It was a perfect long weekend.
Lovely location, off the beaten path but easily accessible (no dirt roads). We felt tucked away and loved the porch overlooking the creek. Great place!
Had a fantastic time using this as our base camp for hikes in the surrounding area. Kids (3, 6, & 8) had a great time down by the stream and around the campfire at night. We saw some wild boar feeding on the other side of the stream the first night we were there.
Loved it again. We stayed a couple times and its awesome. Great times. Hosts are great people. You want a great hideaway. Try it. Be back next year!!!!
We can't say enough good about our experience! Everything was clean, nice and worked right down to the ignition system on the BBQ!We had a little "self-inflicted" trouble checking in, which Scott walked us through. Our advice is to copy the door code correctly and don't rely on your phone until you connect to the cabin's Wi-Fi which, by the way, was also Great!A couple or small family couldn't find a better cabin than this for a stay in the Rockwood area!
Love the decor of this wonderful get away!! Did so crawdad catch and release in the crick...we t to the swimming hole down the road..had a nice afternoon at Watts Bar Lake hiking and swimming..Ozone Falls as well.. we had to transfer the propane tank from the fire pit to the grill as tank was empty...we would definitely recommend a stay here!!
WOW!!! What an absolutely amazing cabin & location. From the cleanliness to the peacefulness this rental is Grade A, 12 on a scale of 10, and any other rating that gives above and beyond expectations. The Cabin itself is wonderful and spacious, as well as clean and very well maintained. The lot/land this cabin sits on is GORGEOUS and so BEAUTIFUL. Kudos to the owner for providing such a Wonderful location. Escaping normal everyday life, adulting, or just getting away, this Cabin is for everyone.
Our stay was perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. It had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the CWM area that was right up the street on ATV's. The back patio was our favorite spot on the property. We viewed many deer and enjoyed the peace and quiet with them every morning with our coffee. I highly recommend this property for some R&R quiet time away from the busy city life. We didn't want to leave!! Thank you again Scott! Hope to book with you again in the spring.
Creekside is by far the most comfortable and well appointed rental we have ever stayed in (and we've been staying in rentals for years). Scott was quick to respond to any questions and check-in was super easy. The property is beautiful and there is loads of wildlife to watch from the deck. We cook a lot and travel with basics so be sure to bring food with you. We were aware of this from past reviews so made plans to stop at a grocery on our way. Hope to be back again.
We have stayed at many rentals throughout the years and this was one of the most cozy, welcoming, and serene rentals we have experienced. The cabin was decorated for the holiday/Christmas season which was so thoughtful of the owners. Corn was laid out across the creek to attract wildlife and the creek was beautiful! There is a gas firepit on the back deck and a bonfire location by the creek with chairs. The owners had wonderful communication and were very pleasant. We look forward to staying at this cute little cabin again in the future.
I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. I am a return guest, and it was perfect once again. The cabin was warm and welcoming with everything you would need there ready. It was clean and comfortable! I had my aunt and my cousin with me this trip and they too were comfortable and loved the view off the back porch. We watched deer and wildlife, made great memories. We took the can am all throughout CWMA and saw our first rattlesnake! Great time had by all. See you next spring! Thank you for wonderful accommodations when we come to Tennessee. This place is the BEST!!!
This cozy little cabin is a great getaway for peace and serenity, with a babbling brook which my husband and I enjoyed listening to from the secluded back porch, which has a wonderful porch swing and fire pit. We also spent a morning at the wood burning fire pit down by the creek. We enjoyed all the amenities, including the animals that would show up at the creek.
Scott was a wonderful host, one of the best we’ve had, as he was easy to communicate with and very accommodating! The cabin was cute clean and had attention to detail. It was a little slice of heaven and we will absolutely return next time we go to Tennessee!
We had an awesome stay there. The place is as described in the listing. Perfect location to get away and just enjoy the nature and the company you bring. You can just stay on the back porch and listen to the forest. We haven't seen deer or bears by the creek, but plenty of birds came by.
Kitchen is good size and well equipped to cook at home. Bathroom has more towels that we could need.
The best thing about this place is how responsive the owners are - usually reply comes in within a few minutes and they do their best to resolve any questions that arise.
This cabin is amazing! First of all, it is IMMACULATE! We live in the country so I know how hard it is to keep dust, bugs, spiders, etc. out of your home. But this place is spotless.
It is very quiet with only the sounds of nature. Since we went during a dry spell, the creek was not flowing but we spent every minute of our free time on the back porch and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Scott was absolutely wonderful to deal with and the whole process was smooth as silk.
I highly recommend this cabin. And we will definitely be going back.
We were showing horses in Harriman at the Roane State Arena. We didn’t get to spend much daylight time at the house but it would be the most beautiful place to take your family, sit around a camp fire and enjoy some nice weather and let the kids entertain themselves nearby in the rock bottom creek. Since we had other things going on, we were thankful for a quiet place to stay. There are no neighbors we could see, no loud noises other than the waterfalls outback. I spoke with the owner twice. Once because I couldn’t find an email with the code and it was very late to call. He was so nice and very friendly to talk to. I also called back after our stay and asked if he would look for something we may have left behind. He was happy to take time out of his schedule to look and to call me back. We enjoyed our home away from home.
