"This home has been restored to its original glory. With a few modern upgrades. The kitchen was amazing and very well equipped. The beds were super comfy. We loved the back deck as well. Communication was effortless and immediate. We were there during a heat wave so the window units in the bedrooms didn’t quite do the trick. It also meant the upstairs hallway and bathroom were very warm. The original clawfoot tub converted to a shower was beautiful but not as effective as one might hope. We also adored the neighborhood cat, Morris. Thanks for a delightful stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay and especially loved the cat hostess. We are both cat lovers and are without cats at the moment so that was just sweet. We were disappointed to find that breakfast wasn’t served at the bed-and-breakfast and which was advertised on the in the listing, but our host said that it was a separate add-on, Chris, our host was very helpful when we accidentally left a bag behind and we had to drive over and pick it up from him. He was very gracious to meet us."

"This house is very old and interesting with some interesting history. I love old houses and this place has some unique details. The pool was an added detail that we didn’t use much, but would be fun for families with children. The surrounding back yard was very private and shady. Convenient to downtown and the river."
