Enjoy this cozy cottage with panoramic ocean views.

  • Spend a weekend or a week enjoying the beauty and culture of Rockport. Enjoy panoramic views of Sandy Bay.and Straightsmouth Island. Stay close enough to walk to downtown art galleries, restaurants and beaches, but far enough away to leave the crowds behind.

    The first floor features a sitting area with a sofa/sleeper; a kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, amenities, granite counter-tops; a deck with a gas grill, and a full bathroom with an over-sized shower. The second floor has a queen size bed with a sitting room that opens to a balcony with sweeping ocean views.

    Onsite parking for one car gives guests private access.

Lovely cottage

Perfect spot for a couple. The gardens are beautiful and each deck was a treat. Nice location for walks to either area beaches or granite pier. Easy drive to other Cape Ann communities and larger beaches (i.e. Crane in Ipswich).

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cottage. It is very nicely decorated and a perfect cozy cottage for a relaxing getaway. Enjoyed the ocean views from the top balcony with morning coffee. Our hosts were very responsive and provided a lot of recommendations.

Lovely stay in Rockport!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean and just as pictured. The upstairs view makes for a delightful way to begin the day. Communication was easy and pleasant. It's also an easy walk to the town of Rockport. We would definitely stay here again.

Come Home to Rockport

We did a week here. This location is fantastic. Off the beaten path but only 20 min from main attractions. Home was exceptionally clean and had everything you would need for a stay. Beautifully decorated and comfortable! We will be back some day.

Great Stay in a Great Little Town

We enjoyed our stay. The sunrise and sunsets were worth getting up for and making time to watch each evening. Very convenient to downtown Rockport. Great area to walk in, as well. Off the main road, which was nice! Love the view!! We stayed in and watched the view often!

Rockport is lovely and the cottage is a treasure. It is in a location that offers stunning views of the ocean from its two balconies. Charming

This property is very charming and very clean. The owner is attentive and communicates quickly. It would serve a couple well with its beautiful view on the decks and privacy. Our trip was a girl's trip with my mother and daughter. The pull-out sofa is tiny but comfortable and the bedroom is comfortable but anyone over 6 feet tall would have difficulty as the ceilings were very low. In addition, while it does mention only one parking space a truck and trailer were parked there the entire time we were there which is no issue however initially concerned us as we came later in the evening and we were not expecting another vehicle. Overall great place with lots of charm.

A Gem with a Beautiful View

The owner was great to deal with - very responsive. The property was clean, and spacious for two adults. The upstairs deck, with two chairs and a small table, offers a great view of the ocean / bay - unobstructed view of July sunrise. The larger table on the downstairs deck was a good spot for a meal. While the kitchen does not have a stove or oven, it does have electric burners as well as an electric frying pan. We used the frying pan, which worked well. It was an easy, roughly one mile walk, to downtown Rockport which has lots of shops and restaurants. Gloucester provides even more options, and is just a short drive away. A heads up to future guests - there may be other vehicles parked in the driveway. Upon our arrival, there was a pickup truck as well as a boat trailer. Also, the lockbox is flush with the door and difficult to see in the sunshine. Those two things made us uncertain that we had arrived at the correct place. But, we had - and are so happy that we did! There was still plenty of parking for our vehicle - so, it was not an issue except for the doubt we had upon arrival. Two positives from a security standpoint - (1) it appears that the lockbox code is changed with each guest, and (2) it appears that the internet login is changed periodically. We would definitely stay again.
