Charming Cottage with Fantastic Location

We enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. It is right on the beach; the view, roar of the waves, sea life was incredible. The cottage itself is quite old and has several knicks, bumps, and bruises. I would suggest to anyone staying here to take pictures of any damage you see right when you get there to document and send right away to vacasa or the owner; just to CYA. We did have a few issues with the lock pad, as it was not working properly but vacasa was very helpful. The only other 2 things is that the washed towels had hair on them and that was a bit unfortunate AND the beds are very old and lumpy. If I stayed here again, I might bring an air mattress as that might be a tad more comfortable. HOWEVER, would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY. It was so relaxing, quaint, the location was spot on, and the owner was very kind and responsive.

Wonderful View!

The view of the ocean was why we stayed at the property. Sunsets were georgous from inside or sitting on the back deck. We liked the yard area in back so we could keep our pups on long leashes, allowing them to enjoy the sunset too. The cottage could use some updating and upkeep. We noticed some areas that needed minor repair (tile on kitchen wall, linoleum by back door, carpet fraying). The back deck could use a step to get off and on. It would also benefit from being walled in potentially. It could be a safty hazard for small kids or older adults. We would recommend confirming the wifi is working properly in-between guests. It was not working during our stay, but since we werent staying long it didnt benefit us much to harp on fixing it. The host was helpful in troubleshooting solutions, but nothing fixed it.

Anniversary beach vacation.

The location had everything we wanted. It was right on the beach, in a quiet area, and plenty of room for the 2 of us. It was perfect for our 3 day getaway.

This was truly the perfect little place for our family to stay. Super close to beach access (but not easy/handicap accessible fyi) plus Lake lytle. Far enough from "downtown " to avoid the lil bit of chaos there.

Our week at the beach

We were charmed with this little cottage, no frills but a cute place with everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing week at the beach with three children and dog. Short walk to town for ice cream. Access to beach was the best part.

Breakers a sweet vacation

It was exactly what we asked for...the perfect beach bungalow for two (or four); loved being on the beach and enjoyed relaxing on the deck and watching the sea, right in front of us...it doesn't get better than that; very comfortable, good tv, wonderful night sleeps on good mattress; shower a bit of a challenge; perfect location close to town.

Right on the ocean!

This place was perfect for a long weekend with my Mom. The weather wasn't great, but we could sit in really comfortable chairs in the living room and watch the waves. Everything was neat, and the house was stocked with everything we needed. I will for sure be returning!

The location is absolutely amazing. We had a great and relaxing 2 nights at the Breakers. The pictures are accurate and the price per night reflects the “rusticness” of the place;) Everything worked well and was very clean and warm. Kitchen was well equipped. The sunrises and sunsets are fantastic.
