"We booked the property to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday so there were lots of people ranging from 2 months old to 102 years old! The house itself is fab and the accommodation on offer was great. Location is excellent being near Bolam Lake with some good walks. We had a few teething problems in terms of heating and some supplies but all in all had a good stay"

"Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. Kitchen was really well stocked with cutlery And plates but there was no basics like salt pepper oil etc. Overall lovely family home. plat3s"

"Excellent quiet little cottage. Clean and comfortable. Heating great, despite it being July we needed a boost which was easy to do. 5 nights should equate to 5 dishwasher tablets not 3!! A bit stingy. No WiFi or even any phone signal made communication with elderly family difficult. (Emergency phone available on site) Overall a good experience."
