"Clean and convenient apartment in a safe and sweet neighborhood in South Amboy. We were visiting friends there and this location was perfect. Easy access to Newark, and to New York. Owner was very responsive and allowed us entry an hour early. No on site laundry, so plan accordingly if you are planning a longer stay! Highly recommend this apartment!"

"The property was nice, but during my recent stay, I should have inquired more about what the description really entailed. On my recent trip to the East Coast, I was with my father, who is 92 y/o. The gray area for me was that the house looked like it was a one-flight walk-up, but there were actually 2 sets of stairs to contend with (one on the interior). I may have misread the listing, but for a 92 y/o to walk up and down the stairs like that over 5 days, especially if we had multiple trips out, would have been difficult. I opted to leave the property after one day, only because it was a safety issue.Now, if I hadn't been with my father, it was a nice place, and there would not have been any issues for me. The 2 bedrooms were more than adequate, the kitchen actually had a real gas stove (which I love for cooking), and the washer/dryer was like a hidden treasure, tucked away to make optimal use of the space. There are a ton of restaurants nearby (try Siwa Thai and the Açai shop across the street), and you are less than 10 minutes from Woodbridge Mall. *Note: Be prepared to hear train horns in the early morning hours. Overall, the host was most accommodating and very responsive, the property was clean and quaint, and it was in a prime location. I would definitely stay again."
