"It was ok so i gave 4, but really more like 3.5. We stayed for a quick family of 4 trip to Port A. First time staying in the city. The hotel seems to have been updated/ remodeled in the past few years so it looks nice but wear and tear starting to show. Rooms are very spacious. Given room on second floor. 2nd floor hallway smelled horrible. a mix of strong cleaner and vomit is what i can liken it to. Room we were given had a water leak in the ceiling. We told staff and they gave us a larger room which was nice. Staff was helpful but I can't say friendly. Fitness room small but had good weights selection. Pool was nice and spacious. Hotel is walking distance from beach and nice places to have a drink. Breakfast was ok but not great and they stop serving at 9:30am which we thought was weird for a beach hotel where most may want to wake up late. Overall we had a good time but I don't think we'll choose this hotel again."

"This was a nice place to stay for 2 people. It is located upstairs so if you have any issues with stairs you may reconsider, we managed. Small space but works for 2 people. The host provided snacks/chips in a bucket and a bottle of water for each of us along with coffee that is located under the sink. There is a refrigerator & microwave that came in handy during our stay. The bed was very comfortable, it felt like a Full not a Queen, the sheets were clean but had some stains, same with the towels, they should be updated. Once our day ended & we wanted to watch a movie before bed, we sat on the loveseat, it sits low while sitting on it, we had a hard time getting up one at a time, it should be replaced with a firmer one. The neighbor below is there for you when needed & very helpful. We enjoyed our time here and you can’t beat the price. It was clean."

"We were very pleased with our stay in Port A. The location was great for the restaurants we visited. The beach was a few minute drive away. The pool at our rental was very refreshing after a day on the beach. We will be returning to this location for future trips. The rental was very clean and updated and had a great beach feel to it. We encountered no issues with our stay."
