Great cabin, very stylish and comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. Amazing location next to the large creek. My family loved everything about thia trip!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back in the future! The cabin is in a lovely location, is very well-maintained and has many modern upgrades but still a cozy cottage-like feel. The old mill remains were cool to see!
We came for a few days to escape the noise of our house being re-roofed. The cabin was as lovely as the photos and the creek was even better. The cabin was very tastefully done, well stocked, and immaculately clean. Thank you to the hosts for allowing well-behaved dogs. Our Vizsla enjoyed the surrounding walking trails and hanging out on the deck. Future guests should keep in mind this cabin is down a few miles of one lane gravel road (no problem for us) and also quite a distance to town, so you definitely want to bring whatever you need to relax and enjoy your stay. We would definitely rent this property again.

A Wonderful Family Experience
Our recent visit was an absolute delight for our family. From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by the immaculate cleanliness that greeted us. The management clearly puts a lot of effort into maintaining high standards of hygiene. One aspect that truly stood out was the privacy offered. We felt like we had our own little oasis, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time with family fully. This sense of seclusion added a special touch to our experience, making it more memorable. The atmosphere is worth mentioning as well. It was perfect for a family outing. It’s evident that much thought has gone into creating an ambiance that appeals to all ages. What truly made our experience exceptional were the hosts. They were always available whenever we needed anything, striking the perfect balance between being attentive. Their friendliness and dedication to our comfort greatly enhanced our stay. We left with wonderful memories and eagerly anticipate our next visit. We highly recommended!

Weekend stay
Great experience, fantastic property. Highly recommend.
What a cute, quaint home on the creek! The sound of the creek running is amazing and the huge deck to which you can sit out and listen, is perfect! My husband, myself and our two dogs truly enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful getaway
Had a fantastic time. Cabin Is beautifly renovated. Dogs enjoyed the creek andcrelaxing on the deck. Watch put for the white tailed deer. Will definitely be back.
We loved the cabin at The Mill! I highly recommend it if you’re looking to get away from the noise and recharge in nature.
I enjoyed the fishing right in front of the cabin between the shoals and caught bass standing on the small dock on the creek almost every time I went fishing.
Lenn and Sherrie are awesome hosts too!
When we arrived at the beautiful cabin and I opened the door I was in awe! It’s truly breathtaking. The pictures do not do it justice! We loved every single second we were there and didn’t want to leave. The cabin is equipped with any and everything you can think of to make your stay perfection! We will be back!

Best place to stay near Thomaston GA
We visit Thomaston often to see family but have not had the best of luck on finding good accommodations. But now we have! What an excellent place to stay if you are visiting the area or just looking for some great downtime. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen (except food of course). The bedding was excellent, ample supply of towels and bathroom needs. Although I didn't have strong cell service at the cabin, the WiFi worked great and I was able to make WiFi calls on my AT&T iPhone with no problems at all. Now the best part... this is a well secluded cabin situated on a running creek that has several falls... sitting out on the deck listening to the water rushing over the falls was a very relaxing and wonderful experience. We had one minor issue and contacted the owner who was responsive and took care of everything. We could not be happier with our choice to stay here and look forward to returning soon!
This is a great getaway property. It is very remote which I loved. Beautiful house and property with a creek and gorgeous trees. I have rented many many properties through the years and this is absolutely the best one ever!
I look forward to staying here again.

Amazing weekend
Newly renovated, this cabin has it all.
The hosts left nothing out. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve a gourmet meal. There's bath and outdoor towels.
They even provide the good TP.
the beds are comfy. The back porch is to die for. They have a custom built dining table that accommodates 8. The lighting is amazing.
We had 4 adults and 2 children and it was the perfect amount of space.
You're surrounded by nature. The back of the cabin sits facing the creek, and it wraps around the property. You can walk out the front door and get another view, which is covered in spiderlillies. A walk up the road will give you an opportunity to see some unique property entrances. There are some planted with beautiful and unique plants and flowers.
It is the perfect place to unplug and recharge.

Slice of Heaven
I've stayed at the hosts' former lodge on the same road. They are friendly and accommodating. The trails are well maintained. It's very secluded. I've lived and visited places all over the country and this property is one of the most peaceful places I've ever been. Probably one of my most very favorite places on earth. If you're looking for a place to relax, unwind and unplug, this is it.
