Great property and location

This is our second time to stay at this property. It has a great location within walking distance of West end and a short water taxi ride to West bay. Management takes good care of the property and were quick to take care of any questions or needs we had. We will definitely start here again.

Great location

This property was in a great location. We were close enough to go to west bay or west end and right on the water if we wanted a water taxi. Casper was super helpful, as the grounds keeper, for anything we needed help with.

Right on the beach with a beautiful and fountain right out our front door. A quick walk to town and a wonderful beach bar/cafe right next door on the sand. Larger and more comfortable than we expected and it had everything we needed -- kitchen, towels, even paddleboards and kayaks. Our dive shop was a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend!

A little bit of Roatán

Amazing property! Short walk to West end restaurants/pubs but super chill on the beach. Little hidden gem called Tita’s a stones throw away. Property was very well equipped and grounds taken care of daily. Managing staff very quick to respond. I have never had such a great stay anywhere else!!

End of High School Trip for Our Sons

The condo is beautiful, clean, and the ocean is 10 yards from your steps. The property is easy walking distance to the West End, which is very convenient and a popular place to eat and shop. My wife and son did walk to West Bay one day, but we definitely preferred taking one of the numerous water taxis. The Island Diving Center is a couple minute walk down the beach, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. My boys were just certified last summer, and our dive master Beto was the best and Melody in the dive center was so great setting it all up for us.There were a couple issues with the plumbing; however when we contacted the property managers (Roatan Rentals), they were extremely responsive and committed to correcting any issue we had no matter how small. The groundskeeper Jason is the best, and the property kept a security guard onsite every night. We never felt in danger anytime we were in Roatan, but it was still nice having that piece of mind outside our doors while in another country.This is a great property. If you have any issues, they will take care of you.

Great stay at Villas del Playa! We felt like very valued guests thanks t caretaker, Kenny and property manager, Liz. We had a couple of small issues that were quickly resolved by Liz.

Location location location

If we could give 10 stars we would. We were 2 adult couples. The location was PHENOMENAL! Best snorkeling (blue channel) was just a short kayak and paddle board ride away. The complex is located on a peaceful stretch of beach. Eldin (caretaker) was so helpful with everything we needed. Walter (the night guard) was also so pleasant. Great bars/restaurants, dive shops and markets just a short stroll away. Easy to get the water taxi as well. The unit was very nice and updated. The pool right out front was refreshing...and we loved an occasional visit from Felix the cat who was just a sweetheart! The rental company made everything seamless from booking to arriving to departing. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a wonderful vacation!

Too expensive

This condo is too expensive. The location is great and it is right on the beach, but we had so many issues during our stay: the toilet backed up and they had to dig up the pipes (which they had to wait with until our departure), so the entire condo smelled like sewer. And we only had one functional bathroom. The dishwasher was not working, the door to the pool and outdoor dining area could not open or close. The living room furniture (including the pull out couch) were quite dirty and smelled musty, and the bed sheets in the master smelled musty too. The gas grill needs to be replaced - it is completely rusty, but still kind of functional. We used it for heating water one day for coffee because the power and water was off for over half the day. It is a nice big condo well suited for a family with kids, it is in a safe area with a wonderful pool and great beach access. The kitchen is very well equipped. The town of West end is only a short walk away with lots of local restaurants. Do not miss Anthony's Chicken. There is a guard on site 24/7 which was nice.

Location was hard to get to even by car, property not clean, not all appliances worked properly. We were very uncomfortable and left early with no refund. Very disappointed.

A great stay in West End

Beautiful property, exactly as depicted. Unit is solidly built, with comfortable furniture and lots of towels and linens. Kitchen lovely, although not a real cook's kitchen, as it has only basic cooking tools. Few spices in kitchen, so you have to bring everything. Still, it's entirely functional. Location is away from the hustle of West Bay, but still just an easy ten minute walk. Beside the unit is an empty lot where people congregate, but we never felt insecure at all-- it was just quiet socializing. Dirt road into unit a bit rutted, but a small car can easily pass. All in all, lovely unit, nice area, and a great stay.

Lovely place in West End

Villa del Playa was an excellent place for a rental in West End. With easy access to water taxis, we were in the heart of West End within minutes. You can also take a 10 minute walk! We enjoyed the pool very much as well! The place was clean and wifi worked well. Great location, close enough but out of the hustle and bustle of West End. Roatan is known for their sunsets. It is an excellent location to see them right from your door! We will return soon!

Un paradis !!!!!!!!

Villa Del Playa est un endroit magnifique! Vue exceptionnelle sur la mer, piscine accessible pour les 6 condos. Le condo est situ à peine à 10 minutes de marche du Village, endroit où l'on trouve de petits marchés, boutiques souvenirs et pub. C'est un très beau Village avec un peuple très accueillant. On mange très bien partout! Ne pas manquer d'arrêter souper à la Rotisserie Créole, prendre un verre au Beacher, aller chanter au Karaoké les jeudis soir au Blue Marlin, endroit où il y a une super ambiance! Sauter du haut de la structure au I LOVE ROATAN! Le condo était très bien équipé en serviettes de bain, serviettes de plage, articles de cuisine, savon à lessive. Merci Eldin notre l'Homme de maintenance pour son sourire matinal et le désir de répondre à nos besoins et questions. Merci à nos amis les chats pour leur présence à chaque jour! Ce fut un voyage complètement génial! Nous étions tristes de quitter. Nous étions une famille de deux adultes et deux ados, nous avons rencontré des gens super attachants! Cherchez Horie Webster au Village qui vous fera faire de l'apnée pour très peu de sous, voir 15$ par personne et il vous guidera vers les tortues, les homards, des coraux et coquillages magnifiques! Endroit à retourner dans de futures vacances! I LOVE ROATAN!!!!

Perfect location!

We really loved staying in this condo. Eldon was a great help and was always there during the day. We did have a major washing machine breakdown that partially flooded the place one day [reason for 4 stars] but Eldon was quick to get it out. The two cats, felix and escobar, were there every morning wanting treats...we love cats! Perfect location away from vendors on a great stretch of beach about 10 minutes from the center of west end. Recommended!

Much needed vacation

This place was great. Very comfy. The kitchen was stocked ok but your not there to cook your there to enjoy. The pool was great, the beech is right off the property with a dock for water taxi or boat pick up. We were on the island 11 yrs. ago and is sure has grown. The diving is still great the people are still so nice and friendly. We meet a couple of the owners for other condos there they were great gave us a lot of info. The Cayos Cochinos tour is a must with captain Ray, with Bay Island Adventures. The eco walk was not worth the money. We did the zip line years ago and it was wonderful. This condo is in a great location just off the beaten path but still close enough to west end village. We like the village much better the West end bay. The bay is full of people who every ten steps wanting to sell you something. We cant wait for the next trip. Don't forget to feed the cats. The orange and white one is so friendly and loving. They will eat almost all your leftovers.

Truly an Affordable Beautiful Paradise!!!!

This Condo was very clean and well taken care of. The rooms and furnishings are comfortable and in amazing condition. The area is prime location to all the fun and even has a dock for local boat taxis to pick you up and take you to what ever amazing activities your heart desires on the Island. Kitchen is modern and has the ability to cook up and feast you can come up with. Full washer and Dryer that work phenomenally. This place made my family and I feel spoiled and right at home. You couldn't ask for a better vacations spot on the Island for the cost. It was our most enjoyable visit and we will be comming back. Beautiful and sensational vacation rental. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed here for two weeks and it was amazing. It was a beautiful condo, Best property on the west end. It's right on the beach and close to everything but still far enough away. The condo has a night security guard but we felt safe without him. I would recommend anyone to stay here. In fact since coming back to MN I have told everyone I know of this place and Roatan.

Very nice, great location.

Was very nice, clean, safe and great location. Off the beaten path to get a real Island feel. Great food and plenty to do even our kids stayed busy. The concierge for the property did a great job arranging activities and giving advice. Hope to return one day. Best Food - lobster pot right next door Fishing - Eddie Miller just east of the property at the water taxi shack. Has a small red panga. Snorkeling - Infinity Bay, take a water taxi and go from beach. Groceries - Eldons in Coxen Hole All other activities ask concierge. Hope to come back soon!

Comfortable and well equipped!

The support for checking in/checking out was outstanding. We appreciated that if we had any questions, help was only a phone call away! The property was really nicely maintained and super comfortable for us. We used the kitchen for several meals and the layout and furnishings were nice too. We were happy to have cable service to be able to watch the U.S. NCAA Basketball finals and we also enjoyed the movies on rainy nights. The only downside we experienced was the bugs. We all got bit - day, night, bug spray or no - so eating outside was not really an option for us, but we knew that would likely be an issue in advance. Overall, it was a terrific stay and we could definitely recommend it to others. Thanks!

Breathtaking

We have stayed many places on Roatan and this is by far the nicest with a perfect location. Great access to everything.
