The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet. The breakfast was ok but didn't start until 7:30. The area felt safe.

Hi Bennett. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to provide a review of your stay. While the hotel was built in 2006, we did undergo a full renovation that was completed in 2023. I am sorry you feel the hotel is dated, but I do hope that the service met your standards.

Clean, quiet and safe!
This was the perfect hotel for a quick one night stay. The hotel itself was conveniently off the highway (yet in a quiet area). The parking lot was well lit with security cameras. The hotel and the rooms were very clean and made you feel safe. Hotel breakfast was yummy with lots of options, including fluffy eggs! Lastly I want to compliment the hotel for a standard checkout time of 12pm! So nice!

Excellent with one suggestion, one complaint
Check in was great, Front desk great, hotel itself great, Housekeeping is great! I have one suggestions and one complaint. To have a better stay experience, the rooms could use just a little more "life" meaning put a picture or two on the walls. It just needs a little decor. The only complaint I would have is the breakfast. You REALLY NEED to expand your breakfast time especially on the weekends!! Not everyone wants to or has to get up super early so let the guests have until at least 10 or 1030. Closing breakfast at 9am is total bs

Our original room was given away because they had no record of my reservation-we were then given a handicap room where there was a tub instead of a walk-in shower. The beds were so high we thought they were for NFL linebackers

We enjoyed our stay here. The check in and check out process was flawless. The breakfast was nice, and the staff was courteous. The room was fantastic, and the hotel was relatively quiet.

Last minute need for a travel room
The room was spacious and clean. Mattress not so comfortable. Was discouraged by the towels, fraying around the edges. Drain in the tub was rusty, needing to be replaced. Staff and service workers were very helpful and cheerful.

Great hotel. Pet Friendly
The hotel is conveniently located off a major highway. The hotel is clean and the staff is professional and courteous. It is pet friendly and we were even given a cute pet gift bag at check in. Will definitely stay here again.

The Fairfield Inn in Roanoke was a great place to stay for a Hollins University graduation. It is minutes away from the school, grocery, Dunkin donuts and the convention center. Staff is helpful, knowledgeable, kind and has treats and snacks for check in! We were asked the reason for our visit and then presented with a little gift box shaped like a mortarboard filled with chocolate and when they saw the pup companion, they had a doggie bag for them. There were renovations happening while we stayed but did not see any work being done as it was the weekend. All in all, I would stay again.

Best breakfast!
Another great stay at Fairfield. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast is way better than other hotels! They had blueberry waffles and jalapeño cheddar souffle cups along with the normal breakfast items. They always have so many additional toppings that no one else has.

My wife was impressed with the cleanliness of the room, and the hotel lobby was clean despite ongoing renovations. Also, we left early morning before breakfast, but the manager allowed my wife to toast a couple of bagels and take a couple of hard boiled eggs for an on the road breakfast.
