Room location and condition was awful. Our room window was over the corridor bar. So noisy you couldn’t hear the TV. Our room needed some TLC. Baseboards coming off the bathroom floor, couch had a tear in it, etc…

There was no upper sheet on either bed, just a bottom sheet with a duvet insert directly on top of that covered by a sheet on top of that. Totally unacceptable and unhygienic to be expected to sleep next to a duvet insert with no sheet. I remade the bed using a sheet from the spare bed. The sound proofing between rooms was terrible and we could hear every word from the next room until well after 11pm. (This was one of those rooms that adjoin with a locked door between). We asked to move rooms but were told they were fully booked yet there were plenty of rooms available online. The following morning the same neighboring room had the TV blaring at 5am. We will not stay again.

Comfort & cleanliness was great One issue though, is the soap in the bathroom is very inconvenient, mounted on the well is way to high. Bars of soap would be nice!

2 nights from hell!

Foul smell in the room, later found out there was a long term renter with cats and must have soiled the carpets when we were leaving. So I think we should get a refund. The tv did not work earlier and they delayed our check in even though we were there at 3pm

This revised review we had a wonderful checkin on Saturday, the 28th the young African American man was friendly, and courteous. The room was beautiful clean and more than what I expected. We usually stay at the Marriott courtyard up the street on friend and family discount. But change and got room at the Candlewood. We no longer will stat at Marriott. But, Sunday when we checked out at 6:15am the front desk person bald man was not friendly he didn't even speak at all. Gwendolyn

Wonderful service

This was a quick overnight stay as we were traveling and needed something last minute. The hotel was very affordable priced and was pleasantly surprised with the updated hotel accommodations. The check in went smooth, had a very nice young man check us in. Upon leaving the hotel and getting to our final destination, I realized I forgot my iPad in the room. I immediately called the hotel. Not only did they locate my iPad, they kept it secure and sent the device to me within a couple of days. John - a manager was very helpful in locating and sending it to me! We will definitely return on our next trip and stop.

Great for an Overnight!

At first I was a little confused about the location. However, after determining that this hotel is also in a building with Holiday Inn, all was well. The check in process was easy. The front desk staff were pleasant. You can tell that this property has been around for a while. However, it appears it has recently undergone renovation. The room was great. We had a king suite that was a great size. It offered a kitchenette and sitting chair with a lap desk. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was great. I don’t have anything negative to say.

It was a nice hotel and we were happy. But the bar and food did not open when they said they would so we had to go elsewhere to eat and have a drink. We were able to get a bottle of wine to bring back so did not need the bar on our return but we did see they finally opened. The breakfast was there and had items but everything was cold and we were there right before 8:00am. And we were asked for a tip for get your own.

The reservation we made weeks in advance was for two queen beds but the only room they had available was one king bed. Since the room didn’t have a pull-out couch, three of us had to share the king bed so we were uncomfortable and barely slept. No shampoo was provided and the conditioner had already been used - yuck. This definitely wasn’t worth $208.

The hotel was dirty with unfinished work throughout , not able to watch television the first night , no remotes or batteries available , open hole above mirror in the bathroom , nothing like what was advertised , never been misled like this before , this is the first time I’ve ever written a review , terrible at best !!!!!!

We almost had to take a room at another hotel! Our original room was taken from us in spite of us calling to tell them we were gonna be late but for sure going to be there for our room!!! Our room was fine, just disconcerting to know when we were fair on our end!

When we arrived, the two ladies at the counter were very pleasant. We began discussing the band and found out they played instruments too. I wish their had of been a vent in the bathroom to help with the condensation on the mirror and delay of being able to do my hair. They're we're only 2 towels and face cloths, so i had to run down and get more towels and wash cloths as well. Other than, overall nice.

When we booked the room, we needed som e special needs for a handicap persons . Although the type room needed was not available, the afternoon/evening staff made a personal call to let me know what was available. We had stayed a few days prior and the same room we booked then was available for the new date and we were able to stay and check in without any issuesat all. Thank you!

This was a very unique building. Our room faced the interior of the building which felt very weird especially since we were on the second floor. But they had a good block out window so it wasn’t too bad. The staff is very casual and seemed like they needed more training. No one seemed to know what to do. They were very friendly and nice though. Otherwise the rooms were nice and clean.
