"Th Peninsula Bangkok standouts in three of the most important touchpoints for travel. The first is they have a simply exceptional property. It’s beautiful, absolutely stunning in its layout with a gorgeous breakfast every morning stretching along the river. It’s well appointed and calming. The second is that the personal service is exceptional. Staff greet you by name, they remember your preferences - all the things that make a second and third visit even better. They are responsive, which is even more important. And lastly, their location is perfect. Their riverboat tender continuously runs across the river to the ferry dock and other key locations. That’s our preferred way to travel. The local ferry is about 80 cents and will take you everywhere. They are set back from the rod about is quiet and serene. It is not a brand new hotel. It is handsome and has some age showing in little places. But with that comes wisdom. It knows how to treat guests and to respond in advance - and oxymoron I now. But it’s true. It’s the kind of hotel that anticipates what you may need and as a result the service is endlessly great. "

They treated us as a royalty, provided with private checkin, and due to sickness of a child they prepared all the special food we asked. This hotel deserves the highest reccomendations."

"I wasn't expecting much from this hotel and it definitely exceeded expectations. Our room, rather than being cramped and dark as I'd feared, was spacious and light and had everything we needed including a fridge and hairdryer. The location right on the river is excellent. We enjoyed swimming in the pool every day and sitting by the river with a drink in the evenings. It felt like a nice piece of calm in a crazy busy city. I would stay here again on a visit to Bangkok."

"Perfect location away from the bustle of the city but easily accessible by shuttle boat to everything you might want to see. The hotel itself is beautiful and the service top-notch at every turn from the concierge to housekeeping. The food at the restaurant (and through room service which we had on our first night after arriving late) is amazing. The room we were given was a corner unit with a beautiful balcony and windows overlooking the river. Fun to watch the night dinner cruise boats going by and the sunset. Everything was spotless and comfortable. While we didn’t use the kitchenette much, it was nice to have a full sized fridge and access to amenities of a kitchen for cutting up fresh fruit that we bought in the market. Pool was welcome after very hot walking days, and service there was excellent as well. We really appreciated the takeaway breakfast box they arranged for our early departure at 4 am. Highly recommend this spot for Bangkok. "
