"We enjoyed our little getaway here. It was cozy, quiet, and just what we needed to disconnect for a few days. The host was kind and provided helpful information before and during our trip. "

"Loved the modern rustic décor of the hotel and happy with our stay. The toilet/shower space within the closed door area seemed very small and not sure how larger people could navigate it (we're both average-sized). Location was good to get to downtown (train) and other Blue Ridge sights. Area leading to and around hotel could use some clean up (trash and trash dumping along the roads/entryway). Overall, a good stay but does require driving to eat out, sightsee, etc., as not really walkable."

" Pleasant and accomadating staff. The stay was ruiined when we went to fill our ice buckeand found a dirty diaper which had been deposited there.The bucket was changed out T the front desk but there was no offer of any type of discount then or at check out for their serious health violation "

"For off season stay, this was an absolute steal. Would have appreciated a heads up about a major bridge being down that resulted in a 5-10 minutes drive to our cabin turning into a 25 minute drive from the front office. Also was not sent a certain code that all of the security were asking for which made for some difficulty getting into the resort. The older gentleman with the grey ponytail could have been more polite as well."

"River was gorgeous; deer roamed the woods nearby; hot tub in screened in porch was heated and ready to be used; plenty of cookware and dishes; clean and comfortable beds.Furnishing and finishings were consistent with expectations and appropriate for rental price."

"Room was not clean. It was so incredibly dusty. Just very half done housekeeping. The shower curtain also filthy. But honestly the location and views really took this hotel above and beyond. "
