"We had a delightful stay in the cozy and comfortable Porthole. The check in was a breeze and we found everything we could possibly need in this both well appointed and supplied fun space. The bathroom has great lighting, super nice shower, and lots of towels:) The covered patio was a relaxing spot for lunch, the bench on the front lawn provided a great spot to watch sunset and enjoy the water views, and the zig zag path in front of the house provided the perfect walk to and from town. "Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"Chose this motel for its walkability to downtown, which ended up working fine. It's a bit of an uphill coming back, but it wasn't really a problem for us. When we arrived to check-in, we found they had upgraded us to their King Suite, which was really appreciated. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. There was an A/C unit in the room that really helped keep it cool. The pillows are a bit flat, so bring your own pillow if that's an issue for you. I did, and I slept a bit better for it. We could hear the cars go by, but we were back a bit from the road, so it wasn't too bad at all. All in all, a great stay for one night and we'd stay there again."
