"Lovely place, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, very convenient for places like Taormina. The only slight issue we had was that we were looking forward to having dinner in their restaurant, where much of the food cooked would come from the farm itself, but they stop opening in the evenings from 20th October until April - we arrived 22nd October! Shame, and it would have been useful if this was advertised - they do still provide lunches at weekends though, in the off-season."

"San Pietro was a vintage experience reminiscent of 50’s Italian Riviera. Staff on the whole were lovely especially Lucy who served coffee on the terrace every morning. Downside was lack of clarity on breakfast buffet. For first two days we paid extra for eggs from menu costing an unnecessary 70 Euros cost. No one informed us it was not part of complimentary breakfast. Room was a bit dated - I think refurbishment is required. Drinks very expensive- 26 euros for an ok cocktail! Shuttle good but not available at times costing 20 euros on a taxi back to hotel. Room service very good- food hot and fresh which is not always the case in other hotels. Overall a pleasant experience but overpriced."
