"The staffs were amazingly friendly. The room was clean and well supplied. We asked for extra pillows and towels with no issues. Within 10 minutes walk from the York train station. Easy access to tourist hotspots and fantastic eateries. Great breakfast. My only comment is that i wish the menu for breakfast change every a couple of days."

"Stayed for 1 night on the way to Filey. Very comfortable stay in modern surroundings with a decent breakfast. City centre is a short walk away. Would definitely recommend as a base to explore York. "

"Perfect hotel for a short city break exploring York. No frills but definitely a cut above the usual budget hotels. Comfortable and clean with pleasant friendly staff. Rooms modern and appearing to be recently refurbished. All Yorks attractions are within easy walking distance so park the car and forget about it. Parking is offsite and a 6 minute walk but secure and hassle free with Q-Park. There’s also a discount code available from the hotel when booking. Finally, the inclusion of a buffet breakfast is a nice bonus when other/similar hotels are charging for theirs. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel. "

"The property is very close to the on-off bus which we really enjoyed. It is close to the York Museum which is absolutely a must see. We walked a lot in York and found our location to be acceptable. If you are not a big “walker”, then you might want to stay closer to the center. The hotel was great. The breakfast was very good. The valet attendants were friendly. Valet parking is kind of pricey but pretty average for our experience in the UK. Room was comfortable and clean. Would recommend this hotel. "
