About this space

Escape to this newly renovated retreat on the estate of Sparkling Ponds Winery. This 3 bedroom / 2 full baths Cape Cod is a short walk from the winery’s tasting room.
Renovations completed in October 2018, with quartz counter tops, maple cabinets, bathrooms and queen beds in each bedroom (+ sofa bed). Washer/Dryer and wifi convenient for longer stays. We also upgraded our bathroom this winter in 2025 :) !

Guests can explore the 20+ acres of vines or hike through the 30 acres of forests and ponds, patio furniture and grill.

The space

Conveniently located in the middle of the NY/PA wine trail, you can bike or ride to additional wineries or experience your own private tasting at Sparkling Ponds. Beach access available nearby.

Guests have full access to the first and second floor of the home.

Other things to note

Please no glitter, confetti, or hanging of decorations for parties in our home. Additional cleaning fees will be charged for violation of this request plus any repairs needed to be made for damage.

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage on the Sparkling Ponds winery grounds. We were right across the street from Lake Erie and only 5 minutes from a public beach. The cottage was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was good, and the kitchen was well stocked. Our dog loved walking the grounds back to a pond on the property, and the winery staff were all friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Winter Ski Trip

We had a wonderful time in Ripley. We skied at Peak and Peek and the drive was about 25 minutes. The house was so neat and has everything you could need! The wine was very good and the staff was great. Highly recommend

The property is awesome....clean, quiet, comfortable and picturesque. Xinni was great and communication was impeccable! The wineries were near by as well as the lake. Everything one would need for a overnight or weekend stay was IN the home, which was great, because we forgot coffee. Definitely will stay again!!

Unique and one-of-a-kind experience!

My wife & dogs stayed here on our way back from the Finger Lakes. I have fond memories of the Lake Erie wine trail & Sparking Ponds Winery is in the heart of it. I've never stayed on a working winery, but it was a very memorable stay. The house was very clean; Xenni was very responsive & a great host.

Anniversary Weekend

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend celebrating our 33rd anniversary. The cottage was wonderful. The little touches mean so much. From the coffee and flavored creamer to the fall decorations, everything was perfect. The staff at the winery was delightful, not to mention the free bottle of wine! Hopefully we will be back next year! Thank you!

Cute Cape Cod in the heart of wine country

We enjoyed our stay at this cute Cape Cod vacation home in the heart of wine country. The house was bright and cheerful, with comfortable living space and furnishings. We had reliable internet/wifi and TV service. We especially appreciated the extra touches including the Keurig coffee maker and coffee pods, extra towels and pillows, washer and drier, and the complimentary bottle of wine from Sparkling Ponds Winery. Outstanding Stay - Outstanding Hostess and cottage

We absolutely loved everything about this stay - from our interaction with Xinni, her promptness in communication, the cleanliness of the property. This is one of the best experiences we have had. The whole house (kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms) were very well stocked, super clean, newly renovated. The added attraction of complimentary wine tasting and bottle of wine - was over the top. We ended buying a dozen bottles. Xinni was so gracious and kind to let us take a bit longer to check out. We would love to come back here often. Thanks a lot.

WE WALKED TO THE WINERY ON SITE FOR WINE TASTING. THE COTTAGE WAS DETACHED FROM THE WINERY AND SURROUNDED BY BIG OPEN GREEN LAWNS AND GRAPE FIELDS. THE COTTAGE SETS BACK OFF THE HIGHWAY PROVIDING QUIET FROM ROAD TRAFFIC AND PRIVACY. WE PLAN ON RESERVING IT AGAIN FOR FAMILY GET TOGETHERS IN THE FUTURE. I HAD A QUESTION FOR THE OWNER WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE AND ANSWERED MY QUESTION ASAP, SHE WAS VERY PLEASANT & HELPFUL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE COTTAGE.

Lovely Home

Lovely home located on Sparkling ponds winery property! The house has 3 bedrooms (all queen beds) and 2 full baths with a nice size kitchen (with so many amenities), dining room table for 4 and another area for 2 to dine. The kitchen bing room has a nice layout and the first room as you enter the home. We also enjoyed the gas grill and outdoor dining table. The front porch also has seating where we enjoyed more coffee. Sheets, towels, toiletries, extra blankets, were all included. Communication was quick and check-in flawless. When we return to the area, we will definitely stay with the host again!

Great Getaway!

We stayed here for a girls weekend during our journey on the Lake Erie Wine Trail. The house is very cute and exceptionally clean. It's not quite as big as the pictures depict but was perfect for our needs. It was well-equipped and in a perfect location if you plan on visiting the wineries.
