"Absolutely amazing stay at The Hummingbird in Bocas del Toro. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly designed for relaxing. The rooms, pool, and overall layout are stunning.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. The location is also perfect, just across from the beach, making it easy to enjoy walks and nearby beach bars.
A perfect place to unwind. Highly recommend!"

"The place is very tired and not well maintained.
The amenities are not user friendly - e.g. getting into and out of the kayaks from the high dock is very challenging - my daughter fell into the water.
There is a shortage of amenities.
They were very late picking us up."

The property took 30 mins from the airport, the final 20 mins down a very rough sand track!
The sea has a lot of serf and tides so dangerous for weak swimmers The beach is long and beautiful.
The hotel and pool are small but excellent
.The restaurant is good but limited in choice
The staff are lovely particularly Dahlia who looked after us.
The Humming Bird restaurant was excellent a 10 minute walk Take a torch.
The track gets very muddy and uneven,with potholes."

"Kitchen was sparse. No coffee maker only espresso machine. We enjoyed our stay. Slept great.
Papaya restaurant nearby was our favorite. Staff in Merlin restaurant below the hotel was always friendly and greeted us with a wave and smile but never came over to take our order so on three different occasions we got up and went somewhere else. Is there a cultural thing we’re missing here ?"
