My room wasn’t ready when I checked in and I was given a credit for the restaurant in the premises. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Pedro went above and beyond to help Me with my luggage.

Great Hotel with great view. We also got lucky and were given a huge room with a massive 2 door balcony. Suite maybe?We did pay a little extra for a bay view room but so did our friends travelling with us and their room was half the size of ours, lol.

The non-valet parking is an independently owned parking garage. It was OK during the day and early evening but pretty sketchy at night or early morning.

Street drainage in front of hotel needs to be unclogged so the street and entrance of hotel do r get flooded when it rains

The property was at a walking distance to most stores and historic areas. The thing that was not good was the hotel did not have free breakfast.

It was very good, but my only complaint is the parking. There should be at least 2 valet parking available at the time. I had to go around 3 times until the valet came back from leaving other car. Otherwise the valet was doing very good job.

Room was not ready when promised, we had to wait. Washrooms in lobby were very dirty and had no toilet paper. Room was nice. We went to every floor and all the ice machines were broken. I WAS BITTEN BY BED BUGS! I have pictures and still have scares on my left arm. Luckily we only stayed the one night to catch our cruise the next day. This high priced hotel is not worth the cruise ship access convenience.

The hotel is still under active renovation. Room door was broken when we arrived and we were forced to explore with an open door. Door did not get fixed until last day of vacay.

We had an excellent stay here! Would definitely stay here again if I travel back to Puerto Rico. They were undergoing construction when we were there, but we weren’t really affected by it. Our room was newly updated and we stayed in a junior suite and it was HUGE! The location of this property is amazing to explore old San Juan. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is currently going through renovations and seems to be short on staff. Housekeeping came by and only made the bed, didn’t replace towels, throw trash away and the dispensers in the shower did not have body wash nor shampoo. Checking in was a nightmare, at 3pm rooms weren’t ready and we had to drop off our luggage and wait til they called. We waited 2 hours. Should’ve book the Sheraton at the Convention center.

I wish they would have told me before booking that the property was being renovated. As a result we showed up and there was a mess everywhere with ladders and drapes over furniture. The next day we heard banging all over the place. Also skip the breakfast buffet as the eggs were cold, bacon was cold, potatoes were cold and the sausages were cold. On the upside the rooms had been remodeled already and they were quite nice on the ninth floor.

Great location in Old San Juan. Nice hotel, just have some renovations going on right now. Front desk is on second floor. Need a sign in lobby that states this please. But staff were amazing. So nice and friendly.

The property might be excellent once renovated, but currently it is undergoing construction. Very convenient location if you are interested in touring Old San Juan.

As other reviews have mentioned, this property is undergoing renovations on the bottom two floors which makes checking in and getting in and out of the hotel a disaster. They were painting while guests were walking through the area. The paint smell was awful. The room we had on the third floor was renovated and very nice however they should close until they get the first two floors done.

We were extremely disappointed in this hotel choice. The hotel has been being renovated for several months now - but this was not conveyed to us by Expedia. When we arrived the elevators weren’t working so we had to carry our luggage up 4 flights and THERE WAS NO HOT WATER for a whole day. The hotel acknowledged the lack of hot water and the lack of elevators, but said Expedia should have informed us of the renovation status and told us any compensation would have to come from Expedia. So very frustrating.

The room is Great, newly updated and modern. The only issues we experienced were upon arrival at 315pm our room wasn't ready so we waited until the hotel called at 515p that our room was ready, and the lobby, stairs and check in area was a construction zone not very smart in how they didnt separate the work areas with plastic containment areas and keep the ground , walls and stairs dust free as best as possible so doesnt track all throughout the hotel.

Work was being done around the elevator which caused it to go from 2 elevators to 1. I had to ask for coffee for the coffee maker in our room 3 separate times. There was not anything in any of the dispensers in the shower. It’s the most we have ever paid for a hotel room, and the most disappointing room we have ever had
