Pela Bula “Ad universas orbis ecclesias” do Papa Leão XIII, de 27 de abril de 1892, foi reorganizada a hierarquia eclesiástica da Igreja no Brasil, que até então constava de apenas um arcebispado católico, em São Salvador da Bahia, e de onze bispados sufragâneos. Duas Províncias Eclesiásticas católicas foram criadas, a saber: uma no Norte, com sede em São Salvador da Bahia, e a outra no Sul, sendo a diocese do Rio de Janeiro elevada à categoria de Sé Metropolitana.

The pool is very small which results in it becoming dirty very quickly however staff are quick to clean it if you ask them.
