Summary:

This unique villa, which once belonged to David Beckham, is located in Vidigal. The upper level features an amazing suite with incredible views. The living room and kitchen are bathed in natural light thanks to large windows and offer stunning views. A terrace with a small pool and outdoor shower surrounds the living area. The lower level comprises two suites with queen-size beds,



The Space:

The villa comfortably sleeps 6 people. It can also accommodate 7 or 9 guests if you are travelling with 2 children.



Guest Access:

The house is located at the end of a quiet street in Vidigal. It's next to a viewpoint that offers some of the most beautiful views of Rio de Janeiro. The house has a garage for 2 or 3 cars. We can provide private drivers or vans. Taxis and Ubers do not enter Vidigal, so it's very important to book your transportation in advance.

Vidigal is a vibrant, steep oceanfront favela in Rio de Janeiro's South Zone, nestled between luxurious Leblon and São Conrado. Known for its stunning panoramic views, rich cultural life, and the famous Two Brothers (Dois Irmãos) hiking trail, it has become a popular, relatively safe, and trendy neighbourhood attracting tourists and artists.



Here are the key details about Vidigal:

Location & Views: Situated on a hill, it offers some of the best views of the coastline, including Leblon and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.

Safety & Atmosphere: Often considered one of the safer and more welcoming favelas in Rio for visitors, with a strong community feel, local hostels, and lively bars. Two Brothers Hike (Trilha Morro Dois Irmãos): A very popular tourist attraction starting at the top of the favela, providing breathtaking 360-degree views of the city.

Cultural Hub: Known for its artistic scene, "baile funk" parties, and as a centre of cultural gentrification. The area has seen significant investment and transformation, including the rise of real estate prices and an influx of foreigners. Getting Around: Locals and tourists often use moto-taxis or vans (Kombi) to navigate the steep, narrow streets.

Vidigal provides a unique blend of authentic local life and touristic appeal, often experienced through guided tours that highlight its culture and safety.



Getting Around:

We recommend that our clients arriving from the airport book a private driver. Taxis and Ubers, in some cases, do not serve the Vidigal area. We have contacts with several drivers and taxi drivers in Vidigal who can pick you up and take you wherever you need to go!

The main house features a mezzanine with a king-size bed and its own bathroom, offering breathtaking views. The spacious living room and kitchen are bathed in natural light thanks to large windows that provide stunning vistas. A terrace with a plunge pool and outdoor shower surrounds the living room. The lower level comprises two suites with queen-size beds, one of which also includes two single beds, ideal for children. An additional single bed is located between the two suites. The maximum capacity is 9 people (7 adults and 2 children).



Interaction with Guests:

At ADV, we always welcome our guests in person. On the day of your arrival, we will meet you at the building's reception and escort you to the property. Once you arrive, we will show you how to enter and explain how the property operates. We will provide you with all the necessary information to make you feel at home! We also provide all the services you may need during your stay, so don't hesitate to let us know your wishes before your arrival!
