Treat yourself to some time out in this cozy and idyllic hunting lodge near Egeskov Castle.



In earlier times, the pretty thatched house, on the edge of the forest, served as the county's hunting lodge. Today you can spend a relaxing vacation here with your loved ones, relax. On two floors you can make yourself comfortable, enjoy a crackling fireplace and simply come to rest. The bright rooms invite you to linger on the sofa, play cards or whip up your favorite dishes in the separate kitchen.

Why not start your vacation with breakfast on the terrace and make plans for the day ahead. While you clear the breakfast table, your children can play and romp in the garden and start the day in a good mood.



Bring your bikes and cycle along fields and meadows and through forests to the nearby Egeskov Castle. The pretty castle park with its ponds, old trees and mazes invites you to wonderful walks and cozy picnics. Also visit the castle and the various museums and immerse yourself in the history of the place. Also plan hikes in the surrounding area and spend days at the seaside, where you can swim or even fish in the summer months.

Do not stay here

The communication with property manager is non-existent. My partner got very sick with COVID the night before our stay but we could not get in touch with property manager. We arrived to a very precarious, old farm road that was flooded. There were no instructions about the route. Inside, the house was about 8C / 40s F. The radiator heaters did not work!! There was a very musty odor. Also a constant beeping coming from somewhere. There were no towels or linens provided, despite not advertising that. We could not stay there due to no heat and no bedding. and had to book hotels. Despite filing a complaint 7 days ago, we still haven’t heard back. It’s a creepy place that may be okay in warm summer months, but not during other months.
