"We had a great room in newer area on top floor looking over the ocean. Everything was clean. Pillows were excellent. lol. The restaurant / bar wasn’t very good. Too expensive compared to what u could get elsewhere. Service was not very good there & it was not even busy . (Restaurant only )The three pools were amazing !! We would go back! Short walk to town. "

"The room was clean but not the bathroom, it’s as a lot of wear and tears, it show it ages. The bathroom was not that clean and there was some mold. We told the front desk and no alternative was offered. The curtains are not covering all the windows so in the morning it’s pretty bright and the front door is not well adjusted so you see all around it. Ac unit motor are next to the bathroom window, very noisy."

"First and last time staying at this resort. This place looks nothing like the pictures on the brochure or online. Rooms- dirty, severely outdated, cracks in the walls, old beat up furniture, uncomfortable beds, a lightbulb in the bathroom for your light. No facecloths, only one bottle of water daily for two people even though you can’t drink the tap water or use it to brush your teeth. Room not sound proof at all, you hear everything. Food- absolutely disgusting aside from the omelettes at breakfast and a few other things. They tried to pass off cut up hotdog wieners for ham at the omelette station one morning. Even the specialty restaurants (good luck trying to get a reservation, almost impossible) are not very good, maybe one or two items are okay. The food is very much geared towards the Mexican people who are on vacation there and they get preferential treatment. Drinks- they use super cheap alcohol, and if you don’t tip every single time they are rude. And the drinks are not good. Not enough lounge chairs at the pool, they get saved at a very early hour every morning. They will clean the pool and add chemicals during the day so you can’t use the pool. Entertainment is terrible. There are better resorts around, don’t stay at this one. Better yet, find a condo or apartment to rent. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Way too expensive for what you get. This is a one star resort, giving two stars would be very generous!!!"
