"1 ⭐ – Misleading listing and frustrating experience This was one of the most frustrating hotel stays we’ve had because key policies were not clear at the time of booking. We arrived in the evening with young children and were caught off guard by the 9 PM front desk closure. While this may be mentioned in a same-day email, it is not clearly presented when booking—when guests are actually making their decision. We were also charged extra for our children despite the listing stating that children under 12 stay free. We were told this depends on how the booking is made, but that distinction was not clearly disclosed upfront. The “free continental breakfast” was extremely limited (one small item per person, monitored), which did not match reasonable expectations. Lastly, there was constant loud noise from the room above, and when we reached out, no one responded. Due to these issues, we left early and did not stay the second night. Overall, the experience did not match the listing, and policies that affect your stay should be clearly stated at booking—not after."

"We had the perfect stay here. The location is above the hustle of the city but still very close, with beautiful views from the property and access to trails just a few steps away. The rooms were comfortable and the staff gracious and warm. The free shuttle service to and from town was a huge convenience (and Larry the driver a friendly fountain of advice). We also appreciated the food service and the pool. "
