  • Welcome to The Trout House - brought to you by Rest & Restoration, a new kind of R&R. We protect and conserve all the land around our rentals, so when you rest at one of our properties, you’re helping to restore the land around it!

    Trout Creek Farm is a nature lover’s paradise! It has 94 acres of the most beautiful land, with one mile of Trout Creek meandering through it. The property is bookended by two state WDNR fishing areas (Trout Creek Fishery Area). Trout Creek Fishery Area is the first named Fishery Area in Southwest Wisconsin and has class 1 brown and brook trout fishing. The property is also nearby to numerous other class 1 fishing areas.

    Hike or cross-country ski on the property. Fish at nearby Birch Lake (which can also be hiked to from the property). 35 miles to Madison, and just a stone’s throw to Blue Mounds & Governor Dodge State Parks, Military Ridge Bike Trail, Taliesen & American Players Theater, Epic, Deer Valley Golf Course & Lodge and so much more.
