"Cons: The home is slightly remote but so special. The kitchen has everything you need to make any meal. The owner keeps it well stocked with food, cleaning supplies, spices etc. We loved the pizza oven and spent a lot of time in the yard with the kids and the toys that are provided. Thomas is available to answer any questions. The mountains are spectacular, be awarre everthing is closed on Sundays. We were there with our family of 10 including 4 kids and couldn't have had a better time."

The location was great with a variety of mountains within a 10 minute drive and Innsbruck only being 30 minutes away. "The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"
