"Reading reviews I also checked out as soon as we arrived. However the room was clean, sheets/bedding normal for a hotel, shower was functional with hot water, and floors were clean. On one baseboard under sink was moldy and yellow. There were several large trucks - service vehicles in the parking lot. Dogs are allowed here and we heard barking once or twice but not at night. The breakfast was ok. Waffle maker and bananas. The eggs and sausage looked typical for a buffet at a hotel. The pool was closed. I heard there will be new owners. I booked because close to OWU. I’m a bit concerned that we lucked out with a decent room. We have a trip planned to return in sept for a higher price and I’m a little worried. It is a nonrefundable booking so we will have to wait and see. We did stay previously at the quality inn down the road. I may return there with the next trip. I don’t see many other options close to the OWU campus. Hopefully the new owners will provide some reassurances as some of the reviews here are a bit worrisome. "
