Entrance has a very strong smell

Outside the property is poorly maintained. Inside was ok but near the entrance it smelled really bad

Roomy Stay, but Not Quite Picture-Perfect

The house was spacious and overall pretty nice—it had a lot of room and a good layout. However, there were some unpleasant spots that made it feel a bit unclean, and the walls were in rough shape and could really use a fresh coat of paint. With some updates and a deeper clean, it could be a great stay, but as it stands, it fell a little short of expectations.

It was ok. The dishwasher and oven didn't work. The code that I was given to start with didn't work.

Not clean, bad communication, needs attention

The home is spacious, but was not cleaned properly before arrival. Check in was delayed 3 hrs. No problem. The house had trash in the kitchen trash can. Grease on the water kettle on stove, ants in the middle of kitchen. We found 2 roaches on day 2 in a bathroom. There is what appears to be poop on wall and ceiling of dining room. Kitchen drawers have food crumbs. Bedroom drawers are full of lint and dirt. Knob is missing for one of the burners tried to move knob, but food under every knob. Carpet is very dirty and so many nasty stains and spots. We didn’t feel comfortable taking our shoes off. Listing photos hides the stains, Tv has smudges and hand prints all over it in living room. Listing says sleeps 10, accurate, however there are a total of 9 places to sit in the entire house. 4 dining chairs, 2 love seats and one chair. The sheets are old and pilling. The hall bathroom has fluorescent light over the shower (not safe or up to code). 2 of 3 toilets don’t flush properly. I messaged the host upon arrival to let them know concerns about cleanliness. I did not receive a response. I messaged again 36 hrs later and the response I received was that they were not sure how to respond to my message. Eventually I was offered to cancel the remainder of my booking and refund for days not at property. I ended up having to book multiple hotel rooms last minute at far greater expense. I do not recommend this home. Refund was less than promised. Now I have to dispute with credit card.
