  • Welcome to “The Burrow!” This lovely renovated two-story home blends history with modern convenience. Great for families, girls weekends, family getaways and getaways from the family. You will have everything you need for a weekend or longterm stay, with a beautiful, fully outfitted kitchen, 2 full bathrooms (stocked with Tyneham products and towels), 3 bedrooms, a front porch and a cute fenced in backyard. Church Hill is the oldest neighborhood in Richmond and blends historic charm with some of the best restaurants and funky shops in the city. Not only is this lovely home is walking distance to many restaurants, shops and historic landmarks, but it's also about a 10 min drive from almost *anything* you want to visit in Richmond.

The location is fantastic and ideal for walking to local restaurants and parks. There is ample street parking so there is no issue at all with not having a garage or driveway. The area is quiet, but there are definitely people out walking throughout the day. We felt safe and were not concerned about having our teenage kids with us. The only drawback is the stairs are very squeaky (old historic home so to be expected) and the primary bed frame was also squeaky and not as comfortable as we hoped. Overall still an amazing experience and would recommend the home. There are 2 areas for relaxing, one with the TV and the other off the kitchen so that was really nice to have the space.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Burrow. The house is delightfully decorated and well supplied in the kitchen and bathrooms. The home was clean and inviting. The neighborhood was nice and I enjoyed exploring the area on foot. It was my first time in Richmond and I would love to come back.

I stayed here with 4 students for a speech and debate tournament. It was super comfortable and clean and 10 minutes from the convention center downtown. The neighborhood is absolutely awesome. I went on runs near the neighborhood almost every morning. There is so much history and culture right near the house and the local restaurants and coffee shops are great. The hosts were easy to get ahold of when needed and it all went really well. We would definitely stay again!
