Lovely place, super comfortable beds, roomy, very clean and classy. Luke was very responsive and helpful and even showed up in person to make sure everything was okay. The back space was so nice with the fire pit! Although the fire did run out of fuel after about 20 minutes. Also we love the neighborhood, it's very close to where we went to high school, the beautiful and historic Maggie Walker building. We would definitely come here again.

We all had a wonderful stay at City Richmond Life! Although we did not use the area in the fenced-in backyard, it appears to be a wonderful hang out for all ages. A place to gather, relax, enjoy the ambience and all its amenities. The home is updated and modern yet very cozy and made us feel very welcome. Luke was very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Nice amenities including a great back deck. Close enough to walk to some really good restaurants (try Perly’s and Beauvine). Definitely recommend.

Wedding weekend

Stayed one night with family for wedding in Richmond. Wonderful accommodations. Lovely themes in each room and Carver Historic District so convenient to everything Patio setting an A+ for visiting and relaxing. Would recommend to anyone looking for cozy, clean, and good accommodations in Richmond.

Beautiful Home, stylish and well equipped

We were in town for the Iron Blossom Festival. Luke was a terrific host, very accommodating. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. The outdoor space is really terrific! Off street parking was a bonus.

Fantastic Home

This is our second time stay in one of Luke's properties. He and his family have put together absolutely beautiful homes with all of the amenities. Gathering of old friends for a weekend mini-reunion. "City Life" is newly renovated, clean and fully equipped with amenities. We especially enjoyed the cappuccino machine! Thanks for a wonderful stay and experience!

Luke was an excellent host with great communication skills. The home was very clean, decorative, and had many amenities. Our favorite place to spend our evenings was on the patio with the fire pit.

Beautiful place!

Beautifully designed and upscale place! Stayed here for a weekend getaway with a group of friends. Enjoyed the small details, such as the fancy espresso machine with local coffee to try, toiletry items, guidebooks, etc. We also enjoyed sitting out back around the fire pit. Convenient driving location to restaurants, breweries, parks. There was a little noise at night, but overall a great stay! The host is very responsive for any questions we had prior to and during our stay.

Perfect for our company retreat

We rented this for a company retreat as we are a virtual team and some of our team members live in Richmond, I flew in the remaining 3 and rented this VRBO. It exceeded our expectations. It was clean, beautifully decorated, had high end fixtures, and a great backyard patio area. Our host was proactive in reaching out to see if we needed anything and was responsive when we had a question. The internet was great - which was important for a work retreat. We will look to stay here again in the future.

Great House with great hospitality

We enjoyed our stay in Luke's home. He has everything you might need of. I especially love the coffee machine and the beans he prepared for guests. The smart TV works great with all my stream apps. There are many interesting books. Luke is a great host. He responded to all my questions very quickly. When we asked for the change of filter, he came into the house himself and did the work for us. House was beautifully decorated. All appliances were of top notch. Thank you Luke for your hospitality.
