"Had a wonderful time at José's property. It was exactly as advertised. Quiet area, beautiful views, and your own personal waterfall. Beach just a few minutes walk, and centrally located to the entire island. Having a washing machine came in handy, and the outdoor shower was perfect. Parking on the steep hill with a stick shift can be a little bit exciting but outside of that everything was a breeze. Would definitely stay again."

"This is a fantastic property located in an island-central village and was exactly what we wanted. While Ponta Delgada has more of an urban feel - we wanted something just a little off the beaten path but still easy access to amenities. The house is a walk or short drive to restaurants, the market, small cafés, and the beach yet retains the quaint, Azores village feeling we wanted. The house was well appointed with many kitchen tools, extra towels/linens, washer/dryer, back yard, late-day sun...
