"We had an amazing stay! The location was great, not in the heart of downtown, but easily accessible by a nearby bus station. Close to shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Views of the ocean from the balcony. There was a beach club just steps away that we really enjoyed. We had a couple hiccups, but the host was prompt to respond. Would recommend!"

"The best parts - The location is outstanding, right in the middle of everything. The place is comfortable and well equipped. The views were great and we loved sitting on the outdoor area overlooking the water. Detracting slightly is that the apartment is a bit more worn than the pictures would suggest, there is an issue with noise from the cruise ships at night, and there was a problem with the outside door lock being broken one night. "Santa Maria Maior was just as described and in a perfect location. We were minutes from the cable car and many wonderful restaurants and bars. Patricia greeted us and explained everything about the apartment and some tips regarding the area. She was delightful. Olivier checked to ensure everything went smoothly and wished us a farewell. "We had a great stay here from December 15 to January 9. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. We received fresh linens and bedsheets every Monday, which was a really nice touch. Communication with the host was super easy and smooth throughout our stay. The location is excellent, close to everything, though if you’re walking, be prepared for a steep hill from the main road — consider it a built-in workout! Overall, a wonderful stay and we’d definitely recommend it."
