"Basic, and maybe what should be expected for the price, but very noisy (a recurring theme in Spanish hotels). ‘Free’ Wi-Fi didn’t work, when this was pointed out to the proprietor, he just shrugged. That’s alright then 😂. You have to keep a sense of humour."

"A decent hotel in the "new town" of Riano (the old one having been flooded by the dam construction). Room was large, double bed, well-equipped bathroom with toiletries. "Pas cher mais entretien et insonorisation médiocre ( le bruit de la cascade est gênant quand on n a pas l habitude pour nous qui habitons à la campagne sans aucun bruit...) et le simple vitrage ne sert à rien. A small romantic little house in a truly stunning area
"A stunning area to explore with amazing beaches, rivers, mountains and walks. Ramon was a brilliant owner who spent ages talking us through places to go and visit. The house was small but very clean, maybe the bed could be a bit bigger but the Jacuzzi bath was amazing after a day exploring!"
