“Pukeko Beach House” is a luxurious & spacious beach house with spectacular water views in Rhyll. It is a comfortable stroll to the shops and ammenities in Rhyll and a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Bedroom 1 (the first of 2 Master bedrooms) has a walk in robe and an ensuite (with shower & toilet). Bedroom 4 is a 2nd Master bedroom and features BIR and an ensuite (with shower & toilet) with direct access to the rear deck. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have BIR and share the main Bathroom (with twin vanity, shower & bath) plus a separate toilet. There are two zoned spacious living areas at opposite ends of the house; the front open plan Living/Dining/Kitchen features oversized windows to enjoy the views (with smart TV & speakers) and the rear Rumpus Room overlooking the garden (with large smart TV, Blu-ray DVD player). There are books, DVD's and games for all ages spread over the two Living Areas.

Please note: The Ground floor is for guests use; the first floor is locked and is not used by the owners during guest stays.

Outdoor Areas

The rear covered deck (with table & chairs for 9 people, 2 x Lounge chairs & a gas BBQ) has a delightful outdoor heated bath with spa jets as well as a heated outdoor shower. The generous fully enclosed backyard is perfect for children and features a cubby house for the kids. The Single garage has been converted into a Games Room with a table tennis table, darts, kayaks, fishing rods, outdoor games and beach equipment. The long driveway can fit up to 4 cars plus there is room to park a boat in front of the house also.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine & frother, toaster, kettle, a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and Miele induction cook top. In addition there is also an air fryer, rice cooker, slow cooker, hand mixer, and hand blender.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There are 2 wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioners; one in the front Living/Kitchen/Dining Room and the other in the rear Rumpus Room, ceiling fans in all 4 bedrooms, plus wall mounted electric heating in all bedrooms and bathrooms. The front Living Room also has a cosy gas open fireplace.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 7 beds, accommodating up to 9 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Two Single beds
Bedroom 3: Two Single beds plus One Single trundle bed
Bedroom 4: One Queen bed

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
