The Station is a mere 3-4 minute walk from the Mannheim Hauptbahnhof, so it is conveniently. I opted for a slightly bigger room this time and was not disappointed as it had the "Hairspray" theme (yes, the John Waters movie). Since I was on the back, it was super-quiet and rather spacious. My only complaint was no fridge, but then again, Mannheim was so cold that the water and wine bottles on the window ledge stayed perfectly cold. Nice wine bar and good selection of local wines. I will definitely stay there again.

The Station is just a few hundred meters from the Mannheim Hbf yet is located on a side street and thus the location is nice and quiet. Rooms are small, quirkily decorated, but (importantly!) quite comfy. Include the breakfast in your reservation as it is VERY filling. I did not need to eat lunch! I will DEFINITELY stay there again if I am in Mannheim.

Unique: checkin is conducted at the the sister property next door. Hip decor, great air conditioning, comfortable bed. Building was in great shape. fantastic value.

The room had a unique atmosphere to it. Was clean and quiet. Great location. Nothing bad. Only positives. Well the walls were a little scuffed up... But nothing serious. In fact it kind of went with the decore :P

No internet for 2 days and shaky stools and half broken mirrors - this place is a joke. The facilities are worse than a hostel and the price this hotel commands is not justifiable. The location is convenient, interior design intriguing and soap they use was nice but it fails at the basics. Never again.
