Wanting to end a long holiday with a couple of comfortable nights winding down we chose to spend two nights at Burg Schwarzenstein. Less than an hour from Frankfurt airport overlooking the Rhine valley it was perfectly placed for this. Whilst there is not much to do on site, the surrounding restaurants, villages and forests make this a great location whether travelling as a couple or family.
