Appartamento nel centro di Reykjavík

L’appartamento è nel centro della città. Abbiamo ricevuto le indicazioni per il check-in via mail (va fatto su un iPad collocato all’ingresso della struttura in quanto la reception non ha personale) e in quel frangente ci siamo resi conto che c’era qualcosa che non andava. Avevamo infatti ricevuto un upgrade con cambio della struttura ma ciò non ci era stato comunicato. Fortunatamente siamo riusciti a contattare telefonicamente un dipendente che ci ha informati della modifica. Abbiamo quindi raggiunto la nuova struttura (41 - A Townhouse Hotel), sempre nel centro di Reykjavík, dove abbiamo completato il self check in. Camera luminosa e spaziosa, con angolo cottura. Pulizia poco curata, soprattutto rispetto agli standard trovati in altre strutture islandesi.

God oplevelse i Reykjavik

Ringede til hotellet en enkelt gang inden ankomst og der var svar med det samme. Kompetent medarbejder. Utrolig let indtjekning på en IPAD. Hotellet lå rigtig centralt og kan kun anbefale det.

Location good, cleanliness very bad

Good location, but very badly cleaned. We unfortunately booked for two separate nights in two rooms, and both were dirty. There was hair all along the ledge next to the bed at one property, and in the sink, on the chair, etc. at the next. The bathrooms definitely needed a better clean and refresh as well. No luck actually getting anyone from management on the phone while we were there, and we unfortunately now can't get in contact with them at all (hence me finally writing this reviews after trying to have a productive phone call with them for the last two weeks). Overall, great location. Minimal privacy (bathroom doors were either a sliding plywood door or made of glass, and you could hear people in other rooms).. but the lack of cleanliness and lack of management response was an incredible disappointment.

The apartment has a kitchen equipped with the necessary cooking utensils as well as a washer/drier. However there was not closet to hang our clothes/jackets. A simple open closet with hangers would have been useful.

The location is perfect, but not easy to check-in. The check-in system is too complicated to understand. Also, there is no instruction on how to use equipment in the room. This apartment is good for people quite used to travelling.

Checking into apartment K was a bit like going on the crystal maze game show, the process was partly automated and humanised - but fun! For a review of the accommodation. I would say is the apartment was great as was the location and it's definitely worth experiencing. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot/powerful!

Had a great at stay at apartment k. Was a little bit hard to get in touch with the staff prior to the stay by mail and Phone but I finally made it in time. Not too friends-friendly apartment with a glasdoor between the bathroom and the rest of the apartment, so everyone Had to tell the other ones when they took a shower or needed to go to the toilet. Very close to the center of Reykjavik tho, and cheap parking in the area!

Reykjavik Winter Lights Festival

We absolutely fell in LOVE with the apartment upon entry. The style, design, comfort, size - everything. However, there was absolutely no chance of sleeping at all due to the sound level. Both nights people were raging in the streets until 5am so we didn't sleep a wink. It was too bad because it really was such an incredible home base. But based on our stay I sadly wouldn't stay there again.

2泊での滞在で利用しました。 レイキャビックの中心地にあるアパートメントホテルです。 チェックイン/アウトは無人で行いますが わたしたちの時はトラブルでうまくできず深夜にも関わらず対応していただきました。 私たちの部屋は少し離れたアパートメントのため 不穏な気持ちにもなりましたが とても広くて必要最低限のものも完備されていました。 キッチンも使えるので自炊もできます。 スープのおいしいカフェやパブも近くにありますし ツアーやコーチのバス停まで5分と利便性の高い場所でした。 クラブもあるので金土の夜お子様連れや 音に敏感な方は注意かと。 ただアイスランドの人は本当に親切なので いやな思いは1度もしませんでした。 なかなか気軽に行ける場所ではないですが 次訪れるときも利用したいです。
