"I thought this place - which is off the beaten track - would be somewhat spartan.. WRONG! Staff, amenities and food (it is the only place to eat for miles) were top shelf."

Finna Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This was our favorite location to stay in out of our whole trip. The small town was a breath of fresh air from the busier stays in other towns we did later in the travel. There was plenty of things to do within walking distance and food options. The staff were amazing. I packed the wrong charger and NOT my power adapter. Since it was a small town and they didn’t have any stores that would sell that one of the woman who worked at the hotel lent me hers while we stayed which was so helpful! We paid for breakfast and they had a variety of options so everyone in my family found something to eat. We plan on coming back to Iceland in a couple years and stay in the north. We will be looking to see if this hotel is available when we book!"

"Very nice place. The use of the swimming pool and hot tubs was a real bonus and nice rest and games rooms available. our only issues were the small shower with a shower curtain that wouldn’t leave you alone when having a shower! Others had a bigger bathroom area. Breakfast was good and plenty full but the evening meals were a let down to be honest, the same choice every evening and nothing interesting to choose."
