My girlfriend and I stayed three nights at Avli in late October of 2023. I can’t say enough good things about our experience! Our suite was beautiful and spacious with a wonderful private terrace which overlooked the charming cobblestone streets of Rethymno. There are two restaurants just below our suite (Avli and Raki Baraki) which offer some of the best food in a town known for its cuisine. Every single staff member, from the concierge to the restaurant servers, was extremely friendly and helpful. If we ever have the opportunity to visit Rethymno in the future, we will definitely make this our home base!

The property is extremely beautiful, the staff will go out of their way to accommodate you, and it was very comfortable. The location is very convenient, but you will hear people late at night still out partying. That does not bother me at all. My only gripe was that the shower would run out of hot water before you were done, and we don’t take long showers. But, other than that, everything was perfect.

This property exceeded all my expectations. It was really stunning. Dining was unique and delicious. Walk out door to shopping and dining. Parking was very convenient. Staff checked on us repeatedly through the day to ensure everything was great—-and it was.
