Aphrodite - the goddess of beauty

The Villa Aphrodite, built from natural stone, is located above the small village of Prines on a plot of around 5000 square meters in a wonderful hillside location with a view of the white mountains and the sea.

The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. Opposite it is the dining table, hand-made from solid wood, with a view of the fireplace, which invites you to linger in comfort in the cooler months. Since the fireplace divides the open-plan living-dining area, it also becomes a real eye-catcher from the living room. A spacious TV, stereo system, etc. are also available.

On the living level there is also an individually furnished guest toilet and a storage room with a washing machine and dryer, among other things.

A few steps take you to the upper bedroom, which has a large private terrace with a view of the sea, the white mountains and the nearby village of Gonia.

On the lower floor there are two further bedrooms that share a common terrace with access to the garden. Through the oversized panoramic windows, each one has a unique view of the surrounding nature.

All bedrooms have AC, underfloor heating, safe and TV and are furnished with a hand-forged double bed (180x200 cm) in Cretan style.

The adjacent en-suite bathrooms are equipped with a cosmetic mirror, towel rail and hairdryer, among other things.

The spacious outdoor area is dominated by the 13m long infinity pool, which invites you to swim and relax. In the cooler seasons, pool heating can be booked. For sun worshippers or shade seekers, there are enough loungers and umbrellas, as well as a cozy pool deck. To the side of this there is an outdoor shower with cold and hot water. There is also a gas grill with outdoor kitchen.

Enjoy your breakfast outside and take a seat at the large dining table under the pergola. At the adjacent chill area, which is equipped with high-quality furniture, you can let your gaze wander over the surrounding, picturesque nature.

At the end of the private driveway is the carport with a high voltage connection. For further comfort, there is underfloor heating throughout the house, as well as internet with no data limits (also by the pool).

The villages of Prines and Gonia can be reached in a few minutes - here you will find several good taverns and shops for daily needs (supermarkets, bakers, butchers).

The beautiful port town of Rethymno with its romantic alleys and quaint shops can also be reached in just a few minutes' drive.

The nearest beach is in Gerani and is about 15 minutes away.

For stays of more than 7 nights, an intermediate cleaning in the middle of the booked period is included. If desired, several intermediate cleanings or intermediate cleanings for shorter stays can be organized. Ask us.

Important information on the ECO tax.

As of January 1st, 2024, an eco tax has been introduced for all guests in Greece. This is staggered according to category and season.

The fee from April 1st to October 31st is € 15 / night per villa. For the months November to March 31st, the fee is 4.00 euros per night.
The amount must be transferred directly to the landlord's account 4 weeks before arrival, who will then transfer it to the Greek tax office.
