This is a good property with good customer service. The morning breakfasts were good. The breakfasts at this property offer different selections. My wife and I may consider this property again whenever in Rethymno.

What a comfortable place to be on holiday. You will be greeted by helpful staff 24/7. This place has it all, and if you are going to Rethymnon, book the Mary Hotel, we will next time we come back.

Highly recommend this lovely family run hotel in a quiet location outside rethymno. Beach is down the road. The entire staff/family was warm, welcoming and professional. All our needs were addressed with joy and compassion. The hosts offered detailed advice about all the great places to visit. My husband had a health issue and we were pointed to the best clinic. As well, due to the issue, extra care was taken in our room. Truly a gem of a small hotel!

Clean bright well-fitted room with a very comfortable bed and air conditioning - useful to cut any humidity. Nice pools. Welcoming staff, gym facilities exist and are decent but WiFi isn't reliable in gym! Overall this is a great place to stay. We found we didn't need the breakfast and preferred to use the fridge and coffee maker in room for the week and it was a nice way to begin the day. We did think it was a hidden gem property as others have advised, especially as we spent evenings in the hotel after beach days away and we're able to flip netflix to the TV easily for a night in.

Très bon hôtel, à proximité de la plage, et de plusieurs restaurants. Rethymnon à 5 minutes en voiture. Chambre impeccable et spacieuse, avec balcon. Personnel sympathique et attentionné (cadeau d’une bouteille d’huile d’olive de 250 ml... que le contrôle de l’aéroport nous a confisqué !). Parking gratuit assez grand à côté. Climatisation inutilisée à cette période (22-23°), mais certains semblent ne pas pouvoir s’en passer la nuit !

Perfekt litet hotell

Perfekt läge mellan huvudgatan & stranden. Rummet va bekvämt med perfekt fungerande AC. Kylskåp o pentry fyllde sin funktion. Trevlig o hjälpsam personal. Frukosten rekommenderas starkt. Gott och stor variation. Hotellet hade två härliga pooler samt en liten plaskpool. Välsorterad bar och vill man äta på hotellet har de en helt ok meny.

Die Unterkunft war insgesamt super, viel besser als erhofft. Es war sehr sauber, die Reinigungskräfte haben sehr gute Arbeit geleistet und es fehlte an nichts. Man kann kostenlos Billiard spielen (leider ist der Tisch entsprechend stark abgenutzt), es gibt eine Sauna und einen Kraftraum. Einziges Manko: Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat oder gerne ausschläft, sollte sich unbedingt Ohrstöpsel mitbringen. Die Reinigungskräfte unterhalten sich gerne auch früh morgens schon über verschiedene Zimmer. Ansonsten können wir die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Und unbedingt Mojito Mastiha probieren!

Einfach klasse!! Tolles, überaus freundliches Team, das einem alle Wünsche erfüllt. Gutes Frühstück. Wir hatten ein Appartement mit 2 Zimmern, kleiner Küche. Die ganze Anlage ist in gutem, sauberem Zustand und liegt etwas abseits, aber Restaurants, Läden und der Strand sind nur wenige 100 Meter entfernt. Parkplätze sind vor dem Haus oder nur wenig entfernt verfügbar.

Une famille vraiment gentille et un hôtel à taille humaine bien tenu. Nous avions un logement avec la chambre en mezzanine super sympa avec vue sur la piscine. A refaire ! Un super séjour et nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel, sans oublier le petit cadeau de la part de la famille à notre depart.

Court séjour en Famille

Séjour trop court 😉 (3 jours) ! Agréable séjour dans cette résidence hôtelière, nous avions un appartement avec kichenette et 1 chambre, 2 terrasses et accès aux 2 piscines, bar, billard, salle de sport et service petit déjeuner (que nous n’avons pas utilisé du fait de la kitchenette ☺️). Un accueil parfait par le personnel et une petite boisson de bienvenue offerte à notre arrivée et un petit souvenir pour notre départ ! (Chut c’est une surprise …on vous laisse le découvrir lors de votre séjour là-bas 😅). Un grand merci 🙏 à tous d’avoir rendu notre séjour des plus agréable pour commencer notre road trip en Crète. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement et n’hésiterons pas à y revenir si nous en avons l’occasion. Efkharisto ! 😎🇬🇷

A hidden gem!

We’ve just arrived home from staying a week at Mary Royal and I just had to leave a review! The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and our basement studio in the new building was gorgeous. Our studio had everything we needed and suited us well as I struggle with walking distances and the hotel was very easy to use my manual wheelchair from the entrance to our studio (just a couple of steps down to the basement studio). What also makes it is the people who work here, they’re incredibly friendly and they really do make you feel so welcomed. I’m sad to be home as we really enjoyed our stay in Crete with Mary Royal but won’t hesitate recommending this hotel to everyone, it really is a little hidden gem - I hope we will be back one day too! Thank you Konstantinos and your wonderful team (I’ll also miss ‘Mary’ the stray kitten who started visiting the hotel - I wish I could’ve taken her home!). A couple of our favourites places we discovered for future guests: The little village called Margarites, it’s incredibly cute and we spent so long choosing which pottery to bring home! There’s also Taverna Mántalos, where we had the best lunch - you must go! Added bonus is the beautiful view. For beaches where the sea is more calm to be able to swim in we loved Kalivaki beach (the one in the West of Georgioupolis) and Kalyves beach (by CostaAnita cafe - they bring lunch/drinks to you on the beach - perfect!).
