I enjoy staying at Historical Hotels that have been redone.
This is no exception.
The room was very roomy and Mouse Quiet, the only thing I ever heard was an occasional Plane flying over.
The only thing I can say in a negative is the sheets on the bed were kind of scratchy.
Maybe they were new and had not been laundered enough to soften them up.
However, that was such a minor infraction it does not change my positive opinion of The Sofia.

Great location, pool small but nice. Breakfast was a nice benefit. Hallways and lobby not air conditioned. Elevator very slow. Staff all friendly and helpful.

"We use this inn often and have found the staff, cafe and bar excellent with safe, free parking. The rooms are clean and the furnishings are nice with unique reminders that it was once used to lodge military officers. The only downfall is the bathrooms. They are in desperate need of repair and renovation. ..."
