Wonderful stay
My family and I had a wonderful stay in the Mill, it was exactly the kind of property we love, rustic and comfortable. The hosts were very attentive and welcoming, very helpful too. The region is one we love so there was plenty to keep us busy even on rainy days. We would definitely recommend and would book again. Jayne and Nick

Rediscovering the charm of older houses
Old water mill with its preserved mechanism in the dining room (unique). Large bedrooms that can accommodate easily 10 adults and infants. Cosy living room with wood stove. Very large back yard, great playing ground for kids while parents relax preparing BBQ or resting on a hamac, assuming one stays in summer.

Amazing house!
Such a gorgeous property, perfectly suited for us and Ariane & Jean-Luis were amazing hosts. The team loved the house, especially the swim slide under the house! Highly recommend both the hosts and the house. Absolutely loved the mill gearing still inside the house

Fantastic!
Just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful property. The garden is stunning and perfect for guests with children. Our dog loved it too! The owners Eric and Veronique are on hand next door and were so kind and helpful making an appointment for me to take our dog to their local vet. Thank you Veronique! There is a superb bakery on site too with amazing croissants and fresh bread. A beautiful property in a wonderful village, perfect for visiting all the lovely towns in this area. Look forward to returning. Jo, George, Fiona, Emily and Tess

Truly serene and welcoming.
Beautiful house and garden, and welcoming, thoughtful and delightful proprietors. Thoroughly relaxing setting and great to roll out of bed for a twenty second walk to the bakery. A great deal of love has gone into restoring the mill so sympathetically by the owners. We are comfortable with dogs so the owners’ gentle dog presented no problems for us in the very large gardens nor the almost tame silky bantam - Georgette! One request to owners would be to put a padlock on the gate to the main wheel as the ease of access was potentially high risk for children. All in all we would love to return not just for the house and garden but to renew our acquaintance with Veronique and Eric.

MERCI MERCI MERCI Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine !

Australians visiting WWI sites
We were a group of four couples visiting war graves of our ancestors, this year being the 100th anniversary of the end of the war. Renty was convenient for us as it was sort of central with us visiting Boulogne, Peronnne and Pluggestreet cemeteries as well as some other WWI memorials. Parking was easy the accommodation is just as you see in the pictures and the bakery was perhaps too good! Veronique is helpful and had enough English to help us communicate. A local fisherman gave us two trout caught in the stream which was a bonus.

A spacious gite encompassing an old water mill, owned by an extremely kind and hospitable lady
The gite has a lot of character, housing a still working water mill wheel. It holds everything you need for a comfortable stay. Veronique, the owner is extremely hospitable. Her communication was always very efficient, helpful, and she was on hand to answer any of our questions. She was exceptionally welcoming of our young children and our dog. There’s even loads of toys in the gite. An added bonus that there’s a boulongerie on site! Overall a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning. Thank you for a wonderful weekend Veronique!

Perfect location for a family gathering.
The house is lovely, with three good sized double bedrooms and a fantastic attic room with 5 or 6 single beds upstairs for the kids. There is a living room on the middle floor and a huge living and dining area on the ground floor with a large dining table and a second table for games and stuff. The ground floor also has the added novelty of the spinning water wheel! Wifi is very good - certainly enough to keep the kids happy - and a huge garden with a stream running through it. On site is an artisan bakery - so there is fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Kitchen is smaller but it does have a dishwasher and washing machine and an all important coffee machine. It's about 40 minutes drive from Calais and there is a decent sized Carrefour supermarket within five minutes drive of the house, which is very hand for emergency wine supplies. We visited in the winter but the place was very warm and comfortable inside despite the frost outside. Our host was friendly and welcoming and the place also welcomes dogs.
