"DON’T BOOK!!! The host cancelled the stay 2 hours before checkin after I had already landed in Vegas on the busiest weekend with all other hotels booked. "Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location in MĂ©tabief area. Host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and made us feel welcome. Cleaning was arranged prior to arrival and they kindly gave us access to everything at the property. Great base for visiting Jura region and lakes north of Lake Geneva. Lake NeuchĂątel is about an hour away and we visited Chamonix which was about 2 1/2 hours away."

"The chateau is such a gem. Situated in a huge park on the Loue it provides tranquility and style without being over the top. You won’t find any Ikea furniture.
