"The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities."

"The friendliness of the staff is so and so. We have a wonderful experience with the breakfast service and a mediocre with the evening service. The hotel is located in a very nice area. Unfortunately the access to the lake is not the best. But this hotel is the perfect spot to start some day trips. One can clearly see that this hotel is not state of the art anymore. "Very nice hotel, perfect for the family. The kids especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool (either indoor or outdoor) after a day walking in the lovely Alps. The dinners are typical Austrian (three course, soup, main and dessert) and might not suite everyone (been in Austria a lot myself though and find the arrangements very practical)."
