Our family loved this house in town. We walked, drove and biked to the beach and hit the bike trails, shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed for cooking and lots of extra beach chairs and even boogie boards. Our host was so easy to work with and the house was very clean when we arrived.
This property was pristine!
This property had everything we needed, including a safe place to store our bikes, and a sand cart to take our belongings to the beach. Close to everything! We wanted to make a smoothie and the blender was broken. Rick replaced it ASAP! We will definitely be back!
We highly recommend Rick's property. We chose it primarily for its location: very convenient, on the circle, near several playgrounds for our kids, and super walk-able to the boardwalk or amenities like Dogfish Head or Rise Up. Traffic noise was not an issue during our stay! The home itself is extremely well-maintained. You can tell Rick prides himself on keeping everything functional and clean. It has a homey cottage feel but is still spacious enough to fit our family of 5 (and in-laws who stayed a night).Meal prep was a breeze with a sparkling kitchen and hardware. We had no issues with the grill outside, either. Speaking of appliances, the basement washer and dryer were available for use and very nice. Our favorite part about the house itself was the sunroom, which is also climate-controlled. It was a great play area for our kids and was an enjoyable place for us to unwind and people-watch.Absolutely recommend!
We picked this house based on the location.
It's right beside the bike trail that leads over to Lewes.
We rode our bikes to the beach every day. The house comes with 2 parking passes so that's nice if you do need to park your car in a metered spot.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need.
There is also a shed to keep your bikes in and the owner provided chairs, wagons and beach umbrella.
We walked to several great places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's conveniently located beside the rise up coffee shop and just a short walk to many other Rehoboth favorites. The owner was very nice and very easy to communicate with! We've already. Booked for next year. We feel fortunate to have found this gem of a house! It's an older home but filled with lots of charm.
We LOVED this house. Everything was so thoughtfully laid out- all the spaces were furnished and equipped in a way as to make them maximally useful and comfortable. Beds were comfy, plenty of privacy for all members of our group, first floor bathroom and bedrooms were great for grandparents with mobility issues, and the top floor was perfect for the kids- the additional den gave them their own hangout space. Lots of pleasant common spaces to hang out. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and the garage with access to a huge selection of beach gear was a big, big plus! The provided parking permits were a huge win, too. Everything was so well maintained and Rick was a delight - super responsive without being overbearing, and just a lovely, friendly guy who takes a lot of pride in this property, and it shows. Location was especially great for our group with kids- right across the street from a wonderful playground and bike paths. The boardwalk and the state park are both in easy reach. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again!!
This house is an old RB house from the late 20s that has been carefully renovated to retain its charm and showoff its high "cute" factor. My husband and I spent a week at RB in this house and loved our time in it. The house is surprisingly quiet even though it is right on Rehobeth Avenue and very near to the Lighthouse Roundabout, as well as within walking distance to anywhere in RB. The rooms are large; the beds are comfortable; the house is comfortably furnished; and the kitchen is stocked with needed utensils. The house has 2 exclusive parking spots behind the house. Our vehicle was only used for grocery shopping. We appreciated that we could walk anywhere in town in less than 20 minutes. The sunroom is a joy and we ate all our meals there and enjoyed the "people watching". Rick is an attentive and friendly homeowner, who was available instantly by phone or text to assist us. Rick's house is a true gem in RB and it will not disappoint.
We had a great time! This house is in a great location- 15-20 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. Beautiful tree-lined streets make the walk very easy. Everything we needed for the beach was included: chairs, umbrellas, carts for hauling all our stuff! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Highly recommend!
Awesome home! Close to the beach, shops restaurants and boardwalk.
Had a wonderful time at this home, beds were comfy, kitchen well appointed, lovely and spacious air conditioned enclosed front porch and relaxing outdoor space. Rick was a delightful host! Kitchen had everything we needed! We will be back!
Unbelievable experience!! Home has absolutely everything from a relaxing and comfortable environment to a fully stocked kitchen. A/C was fantastic. Screened in front porch is ideal for sharing a meal or people watching. Outside back porch sits under treed yard. Approximately 10 minute walk to beach and the heart of Rehoboth boardwalk. Coffee shop 30 seconds away. Truly an ideal location. Owner is outstanding. We had no issues as owner has thought of every detail. Our family of 5 (17,15,11) had plenty of room and can’t wait to be back. Property is a 10/10!!

Great house
Very well updated house, comfortable setting. They provided carts and chairs and umbrellas to take down to the beach. It is a haul down there though on a hot day and there is not much ocean breeze this far up! But thankfully the AC is working great. Very convenient for the restaurants like EGG, dogfish brewery, el jefe Gordon and the new steakhouse Houston white. . We used all the rooms available with no complaints from our friends/family and I slept on the futon bed and it was fine. Will say that I spent majority of time sitting on the front porch. The owners take pride in this house and you can tell!
Our party of six adults and two kids had a great stay. The house is in a great location right on Rehobeth Ave near plenty of dining options and about 0.75 mile walk to the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels etc were provided. Rick was very responsive to any questions we had.
If you are taking a bunch of stuff to the beach every day (chairs, umbrellas etc) it can be quite far to walk, especially with kids. We were able to use the city parking pass provided at the house and drive really early in the morning to Olive Ave and first street and find a non metered spot, which we used for the day. The walk from that parking spot to the beach is only one block. We would definitely stay at the house again.
We enjoyed our stay at 418!!!!! The location is great. Short drive to the beach and the parking permits are a plus. It’s a nice walk down Rehoboth Ave to all the shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed the front porch. It was great entertainment watching the round about traffic at night. There is a nice park across the street with a nice farmer’s market on Tuesday. Kitchen has all you need as we cooked most nights. Rick was awesome to deal with. We would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you!
We really enjoyed this house. Great location. Not walkable to beach but to many restaurants and coffee shops. Great park across the street. Owner responsive and helpful.
I can't say enough positive about this property. It was bigger than the photos looked. There was a nice curtain between the queen beds that share a room that created some privacy, so it was great for our group of friends. The parking permits made it very easy to drive all of our stuff to the beach, although we could also have walked. And it was so close to everything we wanted to do in the evening. Rick was so kind and helpful. Everything was great!
We are almost – annual visitors to Rehobeth Beach. However this was the first time we took extended family members, a total of six of us. We found this house on VRBO, thought it looked good. It turned out to be far beyond our expectations.
